Chapter twelve.

Meinhard's Pov.

I am scared. Yes, Tilo and Chris are here, but I am still scared. He'll find me. He'll come here at night and kill me when everyone are asleep. I know what he is capable of. If he gets to Chris or Tilo when they are alone, he truly is capable of torturing or killing them. I don't want someone to get hurt because of me.

       Why didn't I see that he was like this before I moved in. And then I stayed with him for five years. He hurt me every day. All those  years. I know they worry for me. I have been quiet the whole morning. I am just so afraid. There is knock on the door, it is him, I know it is him. Tilo stood up. No don't go alone, he'll hurt you.

Tilo's Pov.

         Meinhard's face showed horror, when I stood to open the door. Like he didn't want me to go. What is there to be afraid of? Achim doesn't know where Chris lives. I must say I am surprised to find him behind that door. 

   "Tichalt? What the fuck are you doing here?" 

         His hand is on my throat. I remember it. I never told anyone that he hurt me too. Almost as much as he hurt Meinhard. I remember every hit and kick. And the filthy words of love and care he whispered to me after he was done. I feel as the oxygen doesn't reach my lungs anymore. My nails are scratching his hand, but he doesn't let me go. He dumps me to the floor and leaves when he heard Chris's steps. The door closing behind him is the last thing I see. I just give up on trying to stay awake. 

Meinhard's Pov.

I knew it was him, I knew he was going to hurt Tilo. Chris carries unconscious Tilo into the living room, placing him at the couch. 

"I'm sure it was Achim. Chris you have to belive me."

 I'm desperate, he has to understand that no one is out of danger because of me.  I am the reason this all started. They'll all get hurt in the end because of me. I don't want to be responsible of someones death.

"I belive you, Meinhard. I belive you."
