I hated her less today and I started calling her Babe too.

I was in the middle of sulking and bawling my eyes out, considering to drink myself to death because of Den's IG post where she and LA looked absolutely happy and in love, when I got a text from Mika.

Movie marathon at my place.

I sighed in defeat and prepared myself to go there. I tried to look presentable because I didn't want her to see how miserable I was.

I dressed simply though - tank top and shorts plus rubber shoes. I wasn't gonna go out of my way to look better just because I was gonna see her. Duh.

When I got to her unit, she was surprised to see me at her door.

"Oh, pumunta ka nga?" Mika said while ushering me in.

"You told me, diba?" I rolled my eyes.

"Yes, pero diba sinabi ko naman sayo na you can say no if you're busy?" Mika said with a raised eyebrow.

I stopped in my tracks and mentally hit myself. I totally forgot about that!

"Ah, oo nga. Eh di alis na ako."

Mika blocked my way as I was about to head back to the door.

"Ops. Andito ka na, eh. Ibig sabihin free ka. Samahan mo na rin ako," Mika grinned.

"Eh paano kung ayaw ko?" I challengingly said.

Mika stepped towards me and stood so close to me that I had to step back. 

"Ayaw mo?" Mika asked with a crazy look in her eyes.

I swallowed.

But I pretended like I wasn't intimidated at all. I just rolled my eyes and headed to her couch.

"Sige na nga. Samahan na kita. You look like you're in dire need of company," I smirked.

I didn't know how I was doing it, pretending that I'm not affected at all, but I definitely felt my heart racing and my hands started to sweat. God, Mika was scary!

Mika laughed. "Nice try, scaredy cat."

I frowned. I got caught. Damn.

I ignored Mika while Mika was preparing their snacks and turned on the TV. It was on the news and Jerome Ponce was being featured.

I saw Mika stiffened and once again, I got curious as to what happened between those two.

When Mika sat beside me with a bowl of popcorn and two canned softdrinks, giving me one, I turned to face her. She looked at me curiously before reaching for the remote.

I held it away.

"So anong drama niyo ni Jerome?" I asked again, really unable to hold my curiosity.

Mika's eyes grew larger before glaring at me.

"Ano muna drama niyo ni Den?"

I cursed at myself. I should have known Mika would ask that in return.

But I thought of something else to offer.

"I won't tell you. Pero how about you tell me about you and Jerome in exchange of something else?"
