I slept throughout the ride to Laguna. I woke up to her gently shaking my shoulders.

"Babe, dito na tayo. Gising na," she said.

I immediately shook my head awake.

I tied my hair in a pony and put on my cap while she put on her sunglasses before we went out of the car. It was still before the opening time but there were already quite a few people. I suddenly remembered that it was Saturday. Damn. I prayed that nobody would recognize us. I hoped that the cap and sunglasses were enough to keep our profile low.

Nope. We attracted a lot of attention. Well, Mika did. Seriously, who wouldn't notice a 5'11" fair-skinned and quite attractive woman? It didn't help that I was quite tall as well so more people looked at us. But I kind of guessed that most of them were not volleyball fans because they didn't seem to recognize us completely. I kept my head low as we bought tickets and went to the entrance.

I pulled Mika to the side to try to avoid the people.

"What's the plan?" I asked while still looking around.

"Extreme Tower muna tayo!" Mika said like an excited kid.

I nodded and let her lead the way since she was the one with the map. I was on guard and avoided making eye contact.

The line was still short since the theme park just opened. As we got closer and closer to our turn, I felt my stomach began to turn. I already felt dizzy just by looking at the tall tower. I got nervous thinking that I might just puke once we're being let go from the top. Well, that would be a sight.

I swallowed. "Are you sure you want to ride this one? Carousel na lang kaya."

She chuckled and turned to face me.

"Takot ka?"

"Normally, no. Pero right now with my hangover, yes. Feeling ko talaga masusuka ako," I admitted.

She laughed again. "Hindi yan!"

We couldn't even finish our conversation because it was finally our turn. We sat side by side and she held my hand. She squeezed my hand and gave me a reassuring smile. I smiled back shortly. Then I acted like I wasn't affected at all of the ride and of the fact that she was holding my hand. I denied that I felt something. I didn't. I didn't.

We screamed our lungs out when we were falling. I felt myself elevate from my seat and God, I was definitely scared.

I was kinda shaking as we walked away but Mika was just beaming. Curse the people who actually enjoy things like these.

Mika stopped by the photo booth so I joined her. Okay. Where's the justice in the fact that Mika still looked good while I looked like a ghost with my mouth wide open when the picture was taken? Damn it.

Mika laughed when she saw the picture.

"Tara na," I said.

"Wait. Kukunin ko 'yung picture."

"Why?!"

"Remembrance," she smirked.

I rolled my eyes and let her be. She was just gonna use it against me for sure.

I was right. She teased me about it as we made our way to our next destination: Anchor's Away. I ignored her because seriously I don't have time to listen to her when my heart was pounding and I could actually feel bile going up my esophagus because of the freaking ride she wanted to get onto.
