Geoffrey POV
"I really like her Geoffrey, but then, she still got her V-card, and you know what that means," T.J. was already drunk, and the only thing he's talking about is the girl named Serena, a rebel socialite. I'm also drunk, but not as bad as my friend here.
"Attachments, I don't like it a bit," he added almost dozing off, and he turned to look at me, "why did you attached yourself to Methel this long Geoffrey? Tell me honestly."
We are currently here on the party of one of Paige friends and she is gone singing with them on the small flatform at the middle of the room, while T.J. and I are sharing a small tall table near the pool and I must admit, I missed this kind of life, the last time I party like this was way back before I met Methel.
"You know T.J.," I said tapping his shoulder, "I also don't know," then both of us burst out laughing, like really, a good old laugh and some of the party people gave us this weird look. When our laughter died down, I finally came to my senses that I should answer my friend, you know, just for the sake of proving my love to Methel.
"Tristan," I said seriously and even on his drunken state, T.J. noticed the changed in my voice so he attentively waited for what I will say, "that girl is different," I muttered more to myself, "she rejected, resisted and turn down all I have to offer," then I smiled, remembering those times, "God! I was frustrated like hell, she is a hard-headed girl, she puts this wall around her for her to look tough, she is tough," then I paused for a second remembering the time when that wall starts to crumble down, the time when my charm started penetrating on her wall and my thoughts drifted to the night of my birthday... "God I love her," I looked at T.J. to find that he is somewhat grinning like a fool.
"I'm happy for you Geoffrey James," he said, "I wish I would have the same courage like yours, though I'm afraid it will take long to find that courage to date and make love with a single girl."
I smiled at him, a goofish smile only drunk people can give, "Oh Tristan, you don't know what you're missing having someone like Methel," I told him, "do you know she cooks my food? God, I love her even more for that!" then I leaned in a little closer to him, "and making love to a girl is hundred times better if you wake up with your breakfast already prepared by her, and only waiting for your hungry mouth, it's just like, she is your nanny, but then, a hot one and you love her as much as she loves you."
Deciding from the reaction of his face, T.J. is considering things... well, that's a good thing, because I would like to see him being protective and jealous with "only one girl" that should be a rare sight coming from a womanizer like him.
"And don't worry, you will find your courage," I said patting him in the shoulder trying my best not to look drunk because I heard a saying that "Don't take the words of a drunk guy seriously."
"She's here!" cried T.J. all of a sudden, his drunken face already forgotten or was been already left behind, "Serena is here!"
"Well go and get her," I told him.
"Sure I do," he said before drinking down a glass of strong vodka.
T.J. left me, and I wish that his problem will be settled tonight already... because mine will surely not. I gulped down another glass, thinking about her when suddenly, Paige arrives. I looked at her to find that she is eerily silent... well, that's a first.
"What's your problem?" I asked her.
"A few," she replied and from the tone of her voice, she is not that drunk as I am for sure.
I did not replied to her, instead, I walked past by her to go to the comfort room but then, she pulled me and I was taken by surprised when she kissed me. She is pulling me by the back of my neck, so that I was really leaning down to her cause I'm a head taller.
