Methel POV
"When I was young, I imagined myself working in coffee shops," said Phillip looking around the area, like its the first time he got inside a small coffee shop like this.
"Really?" I asked not believing him.
Why I'm not believing him? Because look, he is too good to work in this kind of places, a Demi God like him should work in an office... a boss, not here, serving people with his mighty presence!
"You don't believe me?" he asked amused.
I reach the counter of the shop then I looked at him. Oh God! Thank you for this night.. his presence here is a gift from heaven!!
"I believe you, i just....." I tripped on my words, how can I say it properly in front of him?
"Because your too good to be serving people," replied Kristine coming from the staff room with my apron in her hand, saying exactly what's on my mind.
"I'm too good?" asked Phillip confused once again.
Kristine hands me the apron.
"Your too good," she replied nodding, "the likes of you don't belong here," Kristine paused looking at me then back to Phillip, "you belong in a company, CEO, were you instruct people what to do, not being instructed by people like what we do here."
And that is why Kristine is my best friend. She speaks what's on my mind. I don't know if I already said this but I remember thinking that maybe Kristine is my long lost sister.. because we shared the same thoughts, but her mind is so much brighter than mine.. she's one of the top student of the class while I'm one of the students on the last list.
"Do you agree with me Meth?" asked Kristine waking me from my trance about her.
"I always agree with you Istine," I replied smiling while putting on the apron.
"But I always want to talk to different kinds of people," said Phillip more to himself.
"Well if you want to talk, I'm always here as a friend," I told him.
He smiled, the carefree smile that made me like him more.
"So what do you want to do Sir?" I asked smiling at Phillip after a few seconds.
Phillip bit his lower lip. Oh God! Kill me now! This is too much! He really looks cute and suddenly I got a kick from Kristine, probably thinking the same thing.
"I want to work here for this night, I want to experience to serve people like what you two are doing," replied Phillip surprising me and Kristine.
"Are you serious?" Kristine and I asked in unison.
Phillip looked at us with his cute face.
"Yes?" he replied smiling and nodding like a child.
"Well Meth, take him inside the Staff room," said Kristine with a malicious grin on her face.
"What?" I protested, "you do it."
Oh God! I can't be alone inside a room with Phillip! My thoughts suddenly lingered to a certain gray eyed guy.. remembering the scene in the South Tower and in his Mansion not noticing that both of them are looking at me, Kristine and Phillip.
"You will get him the apron Meth, what are you thinking?" asked Kristine eyeing me suspiciously.
"No-nothing," I replied to her embarrassed on the thoughts running on my mind.
To avoid the suspecting eyes of my best friend, I turned to Phillip to find him looking at the two of us kind of smiling.
"Come on Phillip," I said walking towards the Staff room, eager to leave Kristine.
