Geoffrey POV
"Where are we going?" asked Methel annoyed just after I called some of the crew members of the establishment I owned to go to Mr. Potskie's shop as a replacement for her tonight.
"You'll find out soon," I replied smirking at her.
God, I love to annoy this girl sometimes.
"Oh... I hate this traffic!" she said now frustrated.
When I glanced at her, planning to teased her, she looked like a child, both of her hands are on her chest, her lips kind of pouting and wait, she is still wearing her apron for Gods sake!
"What are you looking at?" she snapped.
"Your apron," I replied kind of smiling.
"Oh", she said surprised, looking at the red apron covering her shirt and jeans, "I forgot, sorry," she added.
She removes the apron just when the traffic finally dispersed, the cars going to their own directions.
"Where are we going? Like really" she asked again, now serious.
"Can you please just wait?" I replied, my tone matching hers.
"Why don't you just say it to me already? Is it that hard? Because for me, I find it very easy," she snapped back.
"Methel, I promise to God if you don't shut your whinny little mouth I will cover that with my lips," I replied to her really annoyed.
When I gave her a glanced, she was gaping at me, bewildered, her mouth in an "O" shape... like not believing me or something like that.
"And you look cute like that," I added which earned a punch in my arms from her.
"For what is that?" I asked her rubbing the part where she hit me, actually, it didn't hurt at all.
"Nothing," she replied rolling her eyes and turning away.
Oh My God! Girls are really hard to understand!
Minutes passed and we finally reach the place, Luneta Park.. that is the name they call this place, the place where the National Hero of my country died.
"Here?" she asked while looking around the place.
"Why? Never been here before?" I replied unbuckling myself.
"I was," she looked at me, "but I didn't know you go to this kind of places."
I smirked at her.
"There's more you don't know about me Methel, now lets go," I said opening the door to my side.
Once out, we walked side by side, exploring the picturesque park. It was already dark but a lot of people are still here.
"Can I ask you a question?" she asked me.
"Yeah, what is it?" I replied then I looked at her.
"Ummm, why are you doing this?" she asked again.
I contemplated her question; from the last few days, since I met Methel, the first girl in the Marshall who talked back to me and had refused all my offers and from that, my answer came.
"Your different to all the girls I've known," I replied in my most sincere voice.
She inhaled a deep breath.
"Cause I'm a poor teenager, is that it?" she asked me with a crack on her voice.
"What? It's not that," I quickly replied in an annoyed voice.
