"How?" Liam's head turned back to me.

"It's Lily, I don't know how but it only means one thing."

"What's that?"

"She's powerful, more so than we thought. I'm worried about her now, what will happen when she grows up? Will it affect her going to school or having a normal life at all?" I was frantic, my head buzzing with question of every variety. Quickly and deliberatly, Liam's hands grabbed my head and pulled my face to his, kissing me to stop me babling.

"Riley, she will be fine, you have to believe that. No one in our little family would think of ever letting anyone hurt her or anyone else. Dante is locked up and though he may escape someday, that someday is nowhere close. Now, stop this panicking and lets go for our relaxing walk and then dinner with our friends." That was a reality check, and one I needed badly. He was right though, I was worried about nothing as always, it was part of who I was and it got the better of me most of the time. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

"You're right, I'm being irrational. Come on, I need this walk." He smiled and slipped his hand into mine, our fingers fitting perfectly together, and we started walking toward Hyde Park. It was a marvelously beautiful day out, the sun shinning, not a cloud to be seen for miles, little to no breeze, and a perfect temperture for June.

Lily giggled and smilled as butterflies flew across her line of vision and even landed on her. Many people stopped to admire how cute she was and congratulated us, even though both of us looked to be in our teens. The park was buslting with people and dogs, some sitting on benches, others strolling through the grass like us. There was even a group of older people sitting around tables with chess boards or card stacks. It was amazing to be around people who believed that their world was all there was, that the only thing that could possibly be horrible was looking bad in a picture on the internet.

We passed by an ice cream stand and Liam quickly ran to get us each one. As he was picking out which flavor he wanted, his phone buzzed on Lily's stroller. "Everything's set for tonight. Just waiting on a few last minute touches. See you guys soon!" It was a text from Niall, about what I wasn't sure but it was something for tonight and that made me curious.

"Here you are, one large oreo overload ice cream for you, and a large cookie minster for me." he handed me mine and then began to devour his own. I was curious as to what the cookie minster was so I snuck a bite of his without him noticing. It was yummy, mint ice cream with Oreo chunks and drissled with chocolate syrup. Mine was sweet cream ice cream, double Oreo cookies, chocolate chips, and fudge. I could eat that stuff all day every day for the rest of my life, it was that good.

After our ice cream, we spent the remainder of our walk sitting in the grass on a blanket, letting the sun warm our skin and watching Lily play with a puppy that belonged to a couple sitting near us. It made me wish we had one, one to grow up with Lily and be a friend to her.

"We should head back, love. It's getting late and we wont want to be late." It was getting later, the sun was setting and there were less people in the park than before. We packed everything up and told the couple thank you before setting off for home. That text from Niall kept burning in the back of my mind and I was overly curious as to what he had meant.
