Chapter 12

Liam's POV

 I woke suddenly lying on my bedroom floor, blood pooled around my head. I couldn't remember what happened. All I knew was that Riley had been taken and I needed to get her back.

 "Liam! Mate, where are you?!" I heard yelling coming from down the hall.

 "Niall! I'm in here!" I tried to get up but a my entire body ached, then I realized that the blood on the floor had come from my nose and a gash in my forehead.

 "Liam, they took her! They just busted through the door and the next thing I know, I'm on the ground and Kyla is missing! What do we do? Where's Riley? Maybe she can help us find her. Wait, what happened to you?" He spoke so fast I barely made out what he had said to me.

 "Hey man, calm down! They took Riley too. I just woke up and she the last thing I saw was Riley being carried out over the shoulder of a guy." I quietly explained. The truth, I was scared to death. My mate was just taken from me and a hole had started to form in my chest where my heart should have been. But that's the thing, Dante ripped out my heart when he took Riley away from me.

 "What? They took Riley too!? Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, we have to rescue them!"

 "Relax, we will. We just have to find where they went and we'll save them."

 "I hope your right man! I love her, with every ounce of my being! She completes me." He looked down at the ground at that last statement. I could see the despair in his eyes as they faced the ground. My heart sunk at seeing him sad.

 "Niall, we will find them and we will bring them home to us. That's a promise that I will not break for your sake, for my sake, and certainly for Riley and Kyla's sakes." I looked him in the eyes and saw hope blossom deep in his soul.

 "We should find the others and fill them in. How they haven't come running and yelling is beyond me. They have so much better hearing and sense of danger than we do."

 We strode out of the room and down the hallway to Louis and Ali's room. Knocking, we waited for a ressponse. When we got none, we decided to just walk in.

 Ali was lying, tucked in between Louis and the wall on the inside of the bed, while Louis lay with his head in in his pillow along with the crook of Ali's neck. His arm was draped across her mid-section and Ali's face was darn close to the wall. They both drooled in their sleep as there were stains spotting each pillow.

  Niall and I crept into the dark room and tip-toed over to their bed. On the count of three, we jumped onto the bed and began singing the wake up song and the top of our lungs.

 "What the biscuits!!! Are you guys high or just insane? It happens to be 1 in the morning and you have the nerve to wake me, the SassmastafromDoncater!! Be gone peasants!" Louis was being his dramatic self and was being a princess. We just laughed and rolled him off the bed.

 "Louis, seriously get your sassy ass up now! We have a serious problem!" Niall yelled at him. He was lying on the ground with his head in the pillow that fell.

 "Fine, since neither of you have any respect for beauty sleep, I'll get up."

 "My head hurts." Ali said sitting up. "Louis, did you hit your head on the way down to the floor?"

 "Probably, these yahoos weren't exactly careful when they pushed me off the bed. Sorry sweetheart. Now that were both up, what is this problem that cant wait until tomorrow?"

 "Riley and Kyla have been taken, we dont know where. We were both beaten and knocked out in our own blood and when we woke up, they were gone. The guy's name is Dante and he just busted in and took them." I tried to calmly explain what happened but tears rimmed my eyes.

 "Oh, Liam! I am so sorry!" The tears poured out of my eyes as did Niall's and we held each other.

 "What did he look like?" It was hard to try and remember that monster without hatred creeping up.

 "He was bald, eyes blacker than night, he was tall, maybe 6'3, big, rough hands, and a twisted smile. He held Riley by her hair and had another man hold my arms behind my back. He hurt her, made her head bleed when he pulled on her hair. The other man hurt me too but I didnt care, all I cared about was her, how her looked at her like she was a mere animal for him to control, how he spoke to her like a child who misbehaved. He lifted her over his shoulder and carried her away from me as the other men beat me until I blacked out. There must have been 4 of them in the room including Him and they were all vampires, I couldn't do a thing to help her. The next thing I know I'm lying on my floor covered in blood and Riley is missing. Niall came running down the hall yelling my name. He told me what happened to Kyla."

 "Oh mate. I'm sorry." Louis gave us a hug and sat back on his bed next to a crying Ali. He tried to comfort her as best he could but her tears kept falling.

 "We should go get the others up and fill them in." Niall suggested.

 "Fine, but Niall, you can explain things because if I have to go through it again, I might not be able to finish."

 "Sure thing mate." Niall patted my back before getting up and sulking out the door.

 We went to Zayn's room next since his was right there.

 "Woah! Guys I'm sorry, we'll find them, I promise!" Zayn reassuringly squeezed our shoulders.

 Harry really felt bad and Brianna was in tears along with Ali which resulted in Niall and I in tears as well. I dont think I could go long without my Riley, she saved me from suicide and I owe her my life. In that case, if it takes me the rest of my life to save her from that monster, I'll sure as hell do it! No one will ever hurt her again! That is my promise and I intend on keeping it, vampire or not, Dante will not win thisif it's the last thing I ever do!
