I rounded the corner excitedly to the bus stop to be greeted by the most beautiful being I've ever seen.
She looked down at her watch smirking as I stood gawping at her with my mouth open.
"Nice of you to show up", she said, fake mocking me and finishing with a wink in my direction.
I grinned and shoved her gently, "shush".
She smiled, "I'm just glad you came".
Ugh my heart. I could feel my insides melting into one, I couldn't help but smile.
"And your smile is adorable", I blushed pink as she giggled again- would I ever get used to what that laugh does to me? - I doubt it.
Changing the subject, i asked her, "so m'lady, where do you want to go?"
Her eyes lit up at my question and god, they were beautiful.
If it were possible to capture the stars, they would be the ones in her eyes. They shone like a lake, hit by sunlight between the trees in a forest and sparkled like the fairies in the children's story books that used to comfort me to sleep every night.
She grinned. "We're going on an adventure."
