"Ugh how much longerrrrr," May moaned, kicking her feet stroppily. I giggled in reply, "I don't see what you're complaining about, I'm the one carrying you."
She flashed me a grin, "Yea but I'm a princess."
"Too right," I said, hiding a smile as a roll my eyes.
Truth be told, I wasn't sure how much longer it was away. We'd been out all day, mostly enjoying each other's company and the weather but I had more than that planned. I wanted to show her that I loved her and that I'd never let her go. I need her to know that I really know how to treat a lady.
We'd been walking into a patch of forest for about half an hour so far and the trees just appeared to be getting more and more dense.
I'd sent a friend to help set up earlier and I'd given instructions down to the last detail- that is all but where I wanted it to be.
I wasn't sure where she planned to set up at all until I saw a soft glowing light being emitted from amongst the trees.
As we walked closer to the site, I felt may turn around and gasp, "it's beautiful," she muttered and she was right.
It's exactly how I wanted it.
