The rest of our time in the forest was fun, we just sat an talked about the world.
I found out that we like similar music, (definitely a bonus), that cherry blossom is her favourite tree, (since she already knew mine), and that her favourite animal is a giraffe.
I was really enjoying my time with this girl and I didn't want it to end.
"Hey... May?", I looked to her for a response nervously, biting my lip.
"What's up?"
"Well... ijustreallylikeyouandumidreallyliketoseeyouagainandumumummmcaniperhapsmaybetakeyououtsometime?" All my words rolled into one and she giggled.
"What was that sugar plum?"
Oh great, now I'm blushing.
"So I was wondering if perhaps I could maybe take you out sometime... like....... on a date?" I blushed furiously. If she says no now, I'll have ruined my chances with her forever.
A smile spread on her face, "I'd love that", she replied.
Fuck she's perfect.
It was starting to get late so we headed out of the woods and back towards the bus station.
"So, can I walk you home?" I asked, wanting to do anything in order to spend some more time with her.
She nodded, "yes, of course".
I smiled as I gently wrapped my arm around the small of her back. Fuck, I hop she's okay with this.
Thankfully, she wiggled closer to me, wrapping my arm around her more.
I was the happiest I've ever been.
"This is my stop..." she said, the first sign of sadness I've seen from her, gently washing over her face.
"Oh..." I replied, met with an understanding silence before I continued, "Can I take you out tomorrow? I want to get to know you more."
She nodded her head excitedly in reply, "pick me up around one?"
I nodded happily and gently kissed the top of her head.
"Sounds good to me, goodnight angel."
