"So do you girls want to stay here?" Asked my dad, "Jill will sleep with me, the girls can share and Anne can sleep in one of their beds if you two want downstairs?"
"No, it's okay, we'll find a travel lodge for tonight," I replied with a smile. My dad and his family lived in a two bedroom house which wasn't really practical, even for them since there were five people living on three beds and a sofa.
"Oh okay," he said, smiling.

May looked happy at the mention of us being alone together for the night; I was too.
I felt her move closer to me, pressing her body against my side and I wrapped my arm gently around her and leaned into ear, "I've got plans for you later kitten," I whispered, failing to hide my smirk.
She bit her lip and looked down at my comment, letting me visibly glimpse a shiver run through her.

Oh we're going to have a lot of fun.

I turned back to my father and smiled, "if you aren't busy tomorrow, would you like for us to all go somewhere? I'd really love for Jill and Anne to meet  May."
My dad smiled genuinely as he replied, "I'm sure they'd love to meet her too, what did you have in mind?"
"Well I would suggest a zoo but then there's Lucy's crippling fear of animals... would she be okay with an aquarium?" I suggested thoughtfully, "I've wanted to take May to one for ages but I've never got the chance and it'd mean a lot more if you were all there..."
"Okay," my dad responded, "sounds good."

May, who had stayed quiet all through our discussion, was beaming from ear to ear.
"Sound good cutie?" I asked, earning an excited nod from her before I kissed her nose, "good."

"Well it's getting late so we'd better go," I said, standing up before being followed by my father and my girlfriend.
"Well it's been nice meeting you," my dad warmly said to May, holding out a hand to shake hers, which she reciprocated whilst my little sisters flung themselves at her- the youngest koalaing my girlfriend's leg.
"NO YOU CANT GO!" She yelled tearily.
"I have to sweetheart," said May with a weak smile, reaching down to gently twirl a lock of my sisters hair around her finger.
Emma looked up with big, watery, puppy-dog eyes and added pleadingly, "but I love you."

I watched my girlfriend smile, "I love you too princess but I also love your sister lots and lots and we need to go and spend some time with just us together. We'll come back and see you tomorrow though."
This is so cute.
Emma didn't look too convinced.
"Pinky promise?" She asked, outstretching her littlest finger from her tiny fist, her face laced with concentration.
"Pinky promise," replied may, linking her little finger with my sister and gently squeezing.

"Yayayayayayayyaay!" Emma squealed as the ran around the house and I turned around to smile at my girlfriend.

She really is perfect.
