I smiled as May held the door to the coffee shop open for me.
"Such a gentleman," I said with a wink as I walked past.
"Only for you," she replied with a smile.

My girlfriend then chose a table for us near the window and pulled out a chair for me as I giggled.

Gosh, what have I done to deserve this behaviour from her?! Nothing I can think of... or what has she done wrong? ... no. She's perfect, she wouldn't have done anything... well this is new....

I decided to just go with the fact that my girlfriend was being a sweetheart and watched her as she ordered and payed for our drinks- she knew what I liked by now- before carrying them back to our table, the concentration on her face obvious.

She's so damn cute.

When she got back to our table, after spilling minimal amounts of the liquid, I took the beverages off of the tray and set them down on the table.
May sat opposite me and smiled.

"Come on then. What have I done to deserve this treatment?" I asked, smiling at her cuteness.
May looked offended, "can't I just be nice for my girl?!"
I smiled even more, ignoring her offence and moved slightly closer, gently touching my leg to hers under the table causing her to smile. "You can babygirl- anytime you want."
She was grinning by now.
"Though now you ask, I've come to think of my motive. There's something I want to ask you..."

Oh gosh. What now?
