"Do you wanna get some coffee babe?" May asked, Looking out the window at the heavy rain pounding down on the pavement.
"We could just get coffee here," I replied, slightly confused.
My girlfriend hmphed. "I just wanted to take you out..." she muttered.
Awww such a cutie.
I tucked her hair behind her ear softly and gently kissed her nose. "Of course we can get coffee sweetheart."
May beamed and her smile warmed me from the inside out.
Fuck that girl is perfect.
We both dressed and showered before going downstairs and adding, yet more, clothes, (jumpers and coats), to keep us warm and dry.
I slipped on my boots and her, her shoes before we left her house.
I giggled to myself.
"What?!" She asked.
"Out of all the opportunities you had to take me out, you chose the one time that it's pummelling down with rain and made us get wet,"
My girlfriend smirked slightly and winked at me, (a tell-tale sign that she was gonna say something cringey).
"Well... I was gonna make you wet anyway..."
I smirked to myself quietly.
I'd like to see her try.
"Come on then princess," she said, taking my arm and dragging me down the street towards the coffee shop.
