I walked through the halls of one of the finest schools money could get you. Brookhedge Preparatory. It was, to say the least, the best preparatory school in all of New York. Students from all over the globe would come to this school in hopes of making it big after graduating. For some making it big could be getting into an ivy league college. For others it could be becoming the next big band, model, actress, painter, writer. Anything. For me. I want to be the worlds greatest baker. Lame I know but its truly my passion.
Oh I forgot to tell you about myself. My name is Emily but I go by Emmy. I have longish brown hair with a blonde streak in the front. I look like Rogue from X-Men. ( look her up if you don't know c: ) My green eyes shined with tiny flecks of gold. I wasn't very tall and wasn't the skinniest girl. I wasn't exactly happy either. But it doesn't matter because I have my friends who make me feel better. Okay, back to the story.
I got to my locker and found two of my best friends. Sydnee and Tori stood next to my locker. We shared a few laughs and told each other things that had happened over the summer since we all lived out of state. We were sent here to stay for the school year then went home for winter and summer.
After a few minutes of talking we heard doors swing open. We all looked over and saw those four boys. Their bodies covered in tattoos. It was a little much for a girl like me. But they didn't care. These boys just happened to think they were better than everyone because they had just gone on tour with the worlds biggest boyband.
Ashton Fletcher Irwin, 19, drummer and singer. His curly hair and girlish laugh sent girls over the edge.
Luke Robert Hemmings, 17, guitarist and singer. He may have been the youngest in the group but girls flocked to him like he was a god or something.
Michael Gordon Clifford, 18, guitarist and singer. I'm honestly surprised this boy still has hair. He dyes it so much. But I guess he likes to keep the girls guessing.
Calum Thomas Hood, 17, bassist and singer. This boys muscles could sweep any girl off her feet, literally.
I never really liked them. They seem fake and immature. I closed my locker and felt someone grab my ass. "Fuck off Irwin!" I growled at him.
Him and all his little friends laughed as their normal flock of fangirls glared at me. I glared right back until Michael shooed them away.
"Awe poor baby." Ashton pouted and then laughed.
I kinda stood there while Tori and Sydnee stood at my side with their arms crossed. "I don't know why you're still standing here. You practically hate me. Remember."
Ashton glared at me. "Whatever. Come on guys." he said and they all walked off towards the music room.
I sighed and looked at the girls and said a goodbye to them as the bell rang for the start of classes. We all went our separate ways. Tori towards the clothing and drawing classes. Sydnee towards the teaching and education classes, and I towards the cooking classes.
My walk to class includes passing the music room, which I dread every day. Not because of the fact that that boys are there, because of the fact that well. Yeah pretty much the fact that I have to pass those four boys.
I take a deep breath and walk past the music room. I hear the boys talking and kind of stop when I hear my name.
"I don't know how you can stand her Ash." Luke says. "She's just so prude. She probably doesn't even put out."
"Yeah, what type of guy would be with a girl like that." Calum adds with a laugh.
I frown and start to walk away, but of course end up tripping over my own two feet and fall right in front of the door. My books fall out of my hands and I can't help but feel completely idiotic.
I look up slightly to see a pair of thin legs with a pair of vans on, helping me up. I look at Ashton and take my books from him. "Thanks." I say softly and begin to walk off.
I look next to me as this tall boy is walking next to me. I don't know why. He is not saying a word. He glares at other guys that look at me and I can feel my cheeks heat up. We get to my class and I thank him.
He just laughed softly and shook his head. "Its nothing Emmy."
I bit my lip. "No really. I never thought you would do something like that."
Ashton looked down at me. "People aren't as bad as you think they are just because their skin is covered in ink and they have a few piercings."
I shook my head. "Its not about that Ashton."
Ashton just nodded. "Have fun in class. I'll see you at lunch." he winked and walked off. Same old Ashton as before.
I walked into my class and spotted a girl who I'd never met before. I walked over to her and smiled. "Hi. Are you new here?" I asked. "I'm Emmy."
The girl smiled and nodded. "I'm Tracy." the girl smiled.
We began talking and she was actually really nice. We decided to pair up for class for the rest of the year. After the bell rang for lunch I brought her with me to meet the other girls. I made my way to the atrium with Tracy and we all sat at our usual table. I introduced the girls to Tracy and vice versa. We were all just sitting and talking when the boys walked up to us.
"What?" Sydnee glared.
"Just wondering if we can sit here." Luke smirked softly.
We all look at each other, Tracy looks a bit lost though. "Sure, whatever." I say and the boys sit down by us.
Ashton sits next to me.
Luke next to Sydnee.
Michael next to Tracy.
And Calum next to Tori.
This is going to be an interesting year.
