Chapter 30

Ryan's POV

I was leaning against the wall listening to Chloe and Matty talk to his parents.

"It just sorta happened" Chloe whispered, I wish I could go in and hold her right now. There all in the kitchen, I just wanted to see how this conversation went so I'm listening

"So a one night stand?" Matty's father asked, I sigh when it goes quiet before I heard Matty say

"I guess it was" he says awkwardly, Conner comes over and goes to walk in to the kitchen but I quickly stop him

"Chloe is in there with Matty and his parents" I whisper

"Your spying on my sister?" He asks I shrug and he smiles

"Mr McCartan said we're not aloud to keep it" Chloe whispers I sigh, my fathers a complete asshole. It goes silent and I can hear Chloe crying softly, I sigh and go to leave

"Where are you going?" Conner asks

"To my room" I say

"Or why don't you go in there and comfort my sister" he says kinda harshly

"Matty's parents are in there they can't know it's my child" I snap and walk upstairs, I walk into my room and slam the door making a loud noise. Nothing can happen to Chloe, so only Matty, Conner, Chloe and I can know the truth.

If anything happens to Chloe I'd never forgive my self, I lay on my bed staring at the ceiling. I'll only get to know my child till it's 13, how am I meant to handle that. It's bad enough my child won't know I'm its father.

I hear a soft knock on my door, I sigh as I keep looking at the ceiling for a second before I say "come in" I sit up and Chloe walks threw the door, I open my arms but stay on my bed. She runs over and jumps onto my bed and hugs  me, I wrap my arms around her tightly as she cries into my shoulder.

"Chloe it's going to be okay"I say trying to convince my self as well as her

"No it's not" she whispers sniffling

"Chloe a lot can happen in 13 years I promise our child won't be going anywhere" I say but honestly I'm not sure if I can keep that promise.
