Chapter 38

Ryan's POV

"There going to take her away" Chloe says crying as she holds Amber tightly, I've been here for probably an hour now and Chloe hasn't stoped crying or let go of Amber.

Amber, my beautiful little girl, Chloe hasn't let me hold her but it's not like I've asked or pushed her. Chloe's so afraid of losing her she doesn't want to let her go, Amber is as beautiful as her mother tho.

"Chloe I'll figure this out, I promise" I say watching chloe, as her watery eyes stay on Amber.

2 years later

"Don't go to far" I tell Amber as she runs over to the playground we have set up for her in our backyard

"Heard anything?" Conner asks coming out, I shake my head with a sigh as I look over at my 2 year old daughter. Her medium length blonde hair was bouncing on her back, as she tried climbing up the slide.

Chloe was sold as soon as the results came back proving Amber is mine, I fought, I fought so hard when my dad took her away but I failed.

My sister has been really supportive, she was the one that held me the day my father sold Chloe. Both my parents seem to love Amber but too be honest I don't like Amber around them, I wanted to move out and try to buy Chloe my self.

But I need to stay here, Matty and Conner are here and to be honest I can't take them with me sense I don't own them. Well I technically own Conner, but not Matty.

Matty and I have gotten close after Chloe left, he went threw a bad depression stage blaming it all on him. Saying he should of lied better, we ended up becoming good friends

"Watch her for me?" I ask Conner, he nods and I look back at amber. She looks so much like Chloe it's not funny, but I like it. She reminds me of Chloe so much, I walk back inside and up to my room.

When Chloe was sold, I was given Amber so I made my dad give her the room right next to mine. To be honest I'm afraid of losing Amber, it scares me everyday. So I try keeping her as close as possible, she doesn't even sleep in her room much.

She always sleeps in my room, she's never asked about her mother, but I know when she starts school and gets a little older questions will be asked.

Sadly she'll be told the lie my father made, I sit at the desk in my room and turn my computer on. I'm waiting to hear from Chloe's 'owner' I had contacted him asking if she was for sale, it had taken me a long time to track Chloe down.

My father purposely made it hard for me to find her, just as I'm about to open my emails i hear little foot steps. I look over at my door and smile as I see Amber leaning on the door frame

"She wanted you" I hear Conner yell from somewhere, I roll my eyes and him and smile at Amber

"Come here" I say, her smile brightens and she runs over to me. I lift her up and place her on my lap as I turn back to face the computer

"What's this" Amber asks pointing to my emails, I smile. Amber and I have played games on my computer before, so she knows this isn't her game.

"This is Daddy's work stuff" I say, as I read over my emails trying to see if there's one from Chloe's owner. Amber picks up the mouse and puts it on her face

"Game" she says I smile and take the mouse,

"After" i say then look back at the screen, a smile appears on my face seeing one from Chloe's owner, I hope he's willing to sell her, I click on it and start reading as Amber grabs a pen that's on my desk, and starts playing with it.
