Interview with Amyscence

1. What inspired you to write?

 Life always inspires me to write. I've been a writer ever since I could remember. It runs in my blood. My grandma is a published author and so is my grandpa. <3

2. You don’t like to be called a professional writer. Why is that?

Because people criticize me as if I'm Shakespeare. They don't realize people aren't perfect, and I don't want to be seen as someone who is perfect and can write like a God. Because I can't. I have many flaws and I'm just trying to learn.

3. You write songs, you write amazing stories, you make epic covers…. What don’t you do?

Yeah, I don't rule the world ... yet. ;)

4. Which character are you most like and why?

Kim. Because she's crazy as heck and she has a high taste in fashion. c:

5. Which character of yours is your favorite?

Kim. Lol. She's the craziest unicorn I've ever made. She will always be my favorite <3

6. How’d you find wattpad?

A friend of mine from Elementary school sent me a link of a story called "In love with my bestfriend ... did I mention he's gay?" and I read it. It was my first E- Story I ever read and I got addicted and made an account. ;D

7. Which book was the most fun to write?

I think for now it's Biting Jasper. Because it has my two favorite things, dark fantasy and boys lol. :3 But I have a feeling "War Angels" is soon going to take over

8. How is it like to be a wattpad celebrity?

I don't feel like a celebrity lol. So I really don't know. I guess it's fun because I have more unicorns in my army. :)

9. Why do you believe that aliens are our baby daddy?

Lmfao. Well I have a lot of beliefs. I believe in God, but we aren't sure what "God" is. One of my beliefs is that God could be plural, as in more than one. There is a possibility that extraterrestrial beings created us, or at least helped create us, thus them being our Gods. There's a lot of scientific research in this subject, there is a lot of evidence regarding extraterrestrial agenda.

10. What’s some advice you can give to someone who is in the closet?

 I'd say stay in the closet until you feel you are ready to come out. If you know for sure that your parents are open minded, then you can come out, but if you believe that they won't accept you, wait till you are older and can move out. Otherwise don't come out. I always tell people to watch their parents, research them, ask them questions until you know for sure they will love you no matter what. :) Good luck to anyone out there. And don't worry, there will always be people who love you.

11. What’s some advice you can give to someone who gets bullied for being gay?

 I think you should try your best not to listen to anyone who bullies you. They don't define who you are, they can't control your life. It's you. You are the one who will make the choice to be happy and not listen to them. They can say all they want, because in the end you are the better person. All they have is opinions, that's all. So they do not matter, they are NOTHING. Everything gets better. Just surround yourself with friends and have positive thoughts. Feel sorry for THEM because one day karma is gonna f**k them right in the ass. <3

12. What’s some writing tips for the readers?

Well if you are writing on Wattpad, then just make sure you put yourself out there. Don't be afraid to write what you want. Remember to upload frequently, this helps you A LOT. Make sure you talk to your fans and thank them for their support. And just keep growing. You will get the attention you deserve. Work hard though, don't expect for things to come crawling to you.
But just don't be afraid to write what you want. Don't worry about anyone else and don't listen to the negative comments. It's your story, your imagination, YOUR WORLD.
