"Mother, it isn't as bad as it seems.", I said. "Oh, Amelia, this is the end of the straw for both of you, once you get home, things will change. I mean it Amelia.", I can still hear Mother's voice from early parts of this morning. She had found out about our adventure, honestly it was only matter of hours that she would get the news, and just like the other times, we expected to be reprimanded. Unfortunately for us, Mother made us miss Lizetta's pre-graduation celebrations.

"Liz, Mother will freak if she finds out" I said in a state of panic as we climbed out our room window. But Lizetta, a smart mouth that she always is, talked me out of backing down.
"Lia, Lia, Lia, do you wanna look back and say, 'Why didn't I do this? I would have such a great tale to tell!" At least do this for me please, for your one and only misfit ", and how could I resist her charms. We climbed out our windows, and snuck out the hostel. This is the first time we've ever gone so far with our shenanigans. We were already half way to the Rose Lake before they realised we were gone. Our plan was to wait for the headmistress to arrive and float in the water as corpses. Which resulted in the multiple screams from our educators. Lizetta and I have never laughed so hard, ever.
That night we were taken back, had our bags packed and sent home.

About 5 minutes away from the palace, I know that another lecture awaits us about our attire.

Like a storm, Mother's words hit us ," What on earth has gotten into you two girls? Why can't you both behave like normal princesses?! Lizetta Violet Cassidy Blackburn, you better thank your stars that you are done with school!" She holds her hand up to a smiling Lizetta. " But, you will wish you could return there with the surprise I have in store for you My Darling." She turns to me and I'm stuck by her maddening glare, " And as for you, Amelia Viola Scarlett Blackburn, you, my dear will be homeschooled here and under lock and key."
Before we can protest to her rants, our attire was all she could take in at this point, " What are you girls wearing? Haven't I told you both not to use pants in pubic? And black of all colours! Really? Why do you do this?" She looked at us both with deep concerm in her eyes. "Do you want to become targets again? I dont have time for this, we have guests, go change and meet Your Father and I out in the garden."
