*Lizetta's POV*

I set the wood I gathered down and looked around, "Amelia? Ethan?" There was no sign of the two of them. Tate and I split up and covered the camping site. I got back to the central part of the site and waited for Tate, he joined me shortly he was frowning, "I have no idea where they went. They're nowhere to be seen." I ran my fingers through my hair, irritated and worried about them. Especially knowing what happened to Amelia all those years ago. I sat down on a log, trying to think of places to look for them, Tate kneeled in front of me and took my hand in his, "Hey, calm down. I'm sure they're around here somewhere. They're just fine, we'll find them or they'll come back all on their own." His gentle smile was contagious and soon I was smiling too. I nodded, "Fine. Fine. You've convinced me. Since when are you super nice and caring?" I laughed and poked his forehead, he caught my hand and kissed it and I jerked my hand away almost immediately. A look of hurt passed over his face and I felt bad, "I'm sorry, I'm not used to that much personal contact." He smirked and drew closer to me, I raised my eyebrow, "What are you doing? Why do you intentionally make me feel-" I was cut off when he leaned in all the way and placed his lips softly on mine. It lasted for only a second, but it sent electricity shooting through my body. He pulled away, looking into my eyes, and I just stared at him. Our moment was cut short when we heard a crunching sound come from behind me, I turned around and Amelia and Ethan jumped out from behind a bunch of really long grass. I fell over onto Tate, we just lay there for a while trying to get over the shock. Amelia and Ethan did terrible jobs of hiding their laughter, I glared at them preparing a few words for them to hear.

I spent the rest of the evening in silence, I decided to punish Amelia with silence instead of shouting at her and ignored every attempt of hers to talk to me. I was so angry with her, how could she scare me in that way? Everyone tried getting me to talk, Tate had gotten over it after a few minutes, but I held onto my anger and kept a straight face. I got up and headed back into the woods, and Amelia followed closely behind. I stopped when I realised she was following me, I turned around and looked at her. She smiled sadly, "Liz, I'm sorry. I thought it would have been funny to jump out and surprise you like that. I didn't mean to upset you, I really didn't." She took a step closer to me and I took a step back. I looked at the ground and finally spoke, "I thought you had been kidnapped again." I look up at her and continued, "You have no idea how worried I was." I sighed and pulled her close to me and hugged her. She sniffed, trying to hold back tears. I pulled away and wiped her eyes, "Hey, hey. Calm down. It's alright" I smiled at her and she laughed, still trying not to cry, "I'm not crying because I'm sad, I'm crying because you finally kissed someone!" She burst into laughter and started running back to the camp site, I gasped and gave chase laughing as well. I shouted after her, "I'm gonna get you Amelia!" We raced around the campsite, enjoying the cool night air.
