so I'm kind of just giving up on this story? but I'm still trying to write it and I'm rushing so bad I'm so sorry this isn't fair oh my gosh

"You did really well, just like I told you you would." Harry said. He and Louis were standing, leaning against a building on some deserted street. Louis coudln't make sense of why he chose this place to dream about (or what this place was) but he also didn't really care.

"Thanks. Zayn said that, too." Louis said. It was the first time they'd really talked about Zayn (Louis had been avoiding this topic like the plague lately). Louis was afraid Harry would purse his lips and stop talking, something he always did when he was angry or sad, but he didn't.

"I know." Harry smiled. "Zayn's supported you a lot while I've been gone. I wish you could tell him I'm grateful for me, but that would lead to a conversation you probably don't want to have yet."

"Not yet. I'd like you to actually be there when I talk to the boys about . . . all this." Louis glanced around, as if all their moments in his dreams were hovering around them. It felt that way, somehow.

"I know." Harry stepped forward and took Louis' hand for no reason at all. He leaned in and pressed a kiss to Louis' lips, once again for no reason at all. But they didn't need a reason to be close. "I just really hope they don't freak out."

"They probably will." Louis said. He frowned. "Wait, I thought- I thought you could see the future? Don't you already know if they'll freak out or not?"

"I can see the future, yeah, but only yours." Harry said. "If I'm there, I can't see it, and I can't see anything past tomorrow. So it's pretty guaranteed right now that I'm actually coming back and we're not both jut going insane."

Louis chuckled. He felt really happy with that information. Harry was definitely coming back, there was no doubt and there wouldn't be any flaws.

"I love you." Harry said suddenly. He leaned forward and kissed Louis before Louis could reply. Harry's hands slipped back onto Louis' back and pulled him close, in a suffocating way. But Louis didn't mind. He wrapped his arms around Hary's neck, cursing Harry for being so much taller than him and younger at the same time.

"I-I love you, too." Louis stuttered out, breathless, when they finally pulled away from each other. Harry smiled and leaned in again, stealing Louis' lips in another breathtaking kiss.

"You don't know how much I miss you, Boo. How much I miss this. Us." Harry said. His hands clenched into fists around Lous' shirt, tugging him that much closer.

"I think it's just about as much as I miss you." Louis said. Tears were coming to his eyes and he didn't know why. He wasn't sad. He was extremely happy, having Harry so close after being away from him for so long.

"I think it is." Harry smiled. He had tears in his eyes, too, and he and Louis were both just hovering over tears, crying together without actually crying.

"I just really love you." Harry said eventually. He glanced down at Louis, studying him, picking out things that were different. "Your hair is so long. You've grown stubble. God, Boo, you're so fucking beautiful. I miss your tummy."

Harry pouted as he said the last thing, and Louis chuckled. The little stomach he used to have had gone away from lack of food. It was like Louis was trying to starve himself, it's just he hadn't had much of an appetite lately.

"You're beautiful, too. You should look at yourself, Harry, your hair's grown out. Fuck, I love your curls." Louis said. He shifted on arm, still around Harry's neck, to run his hand through Harry's hair.

"I bet a lot of people are gonna be happy to see them again." Harry chuckled. Louis continued to play with them, just staring at Harry until he thought of something to say.

"Not as much as me."

"Not as much as you." Harry agreed. He pulled Louis close for another kiss. Louis continued playing with Harry's hair as they kissed, running his fingers through it. It was soft and clean and it felt nice bouncing between Louis' fingers.

"I just can't wait for you to be back." Louis said as if he were trying to sum something up. Harry gave him a little smile in response and pulled him back in to kiss him again.

The rest of the time they spent together was sharing kisses and holding hands. There was hardly any more speaking, just enjoying each other's company until they weren't together any more. It felt like an eternity, but Harry and Louis favored that. An eternity together is all they wanted, and there they were: fighting for just that.
