the wind was blowing. my hair being pushed back by the strong winter breeze. it was the middle of december and christmas was well on its way.

everything was on track in my life. school was finally turning out okay. my friends and i are doing well, i'm not faking my classes so things are starting to turn out good for me.

i got home from school at around 5. my mom picked me up and i was telling her about my day was and how soccer went. she just kept nodding along...i knew something was up.

when we got home i was surprised to see my whole family. my twin siblings were sitting at the table, i hadn't seen them in months so it surprised to see them.

my twin siblings allie and joey go to collage so they don't live at home. they come home on holiday break and all but other than that we don't see them.

j-"allie, joey. what are you guys doing home?"

dad-"honey sit down. we have to talk."

j-"uh okay what's going on?"

dad-"we are moving. and not just 20 minutes away but to a new country."

i was shocked. i couldn't believe what i was hearing. moving? i've been here all my life. where am i going?

j-"what! another country what do you mean another country. im not going. its not fair why do all of us have to move my life is here in new york, my friends, our family, school, music, soccer not in...wait where are we even going?!

mom-"norway. and well another thing your siblings are staying here. they dont need to come cause well they are in college they can just stay there and come visit over winter break and summer. im sorry honey we wanted to tell you sooner but we didnt want to add more things on your plate. its just what's best for me and your father with our careers you will understand. im sure you will make new friends and the school you are going to will have a team and maybe music too."

i cant believe this. no siblings, no friends, no school, no soccer, no music, and a whole new language! in the middle of the year too! im gonna be the new girl in town.
