chapter 31: mom, dad?

marcus pov//

another day and another show! this week has been so much fun and not to mention its oslo spektrum tonight!

we are sold out. its an amazing feeling to have. we were all getting ready for the show it was only two hours til showtime.

everyone was happy, me and lena were amazing and getting far in the relationship and j and martinus were happy as well.

really everything was great. we were all playing a game in the dressing room. someone knocked on the door.

j-"i got it!"

j got up and opened the door.

j-"mom! dad!"

her parents were here? i'm surprised they showed up. i hope everything is okay.

it was them. mom and dad. what were they doing here? is it finally safe? does this mean i'm going back to the states soon?

i was hugging them for so long. i was so happy they were here.

j-"MOM DAD YOU ARE BACK!"

i ran to hug them. they were holding me so tight.

dad-"j we missed you so much! how are you doing?"

dad let go of me and looked past. i could see he looked surprised. lena was getting up to come and greet them.

mom-"lena! what on earth are you doing in Norway?"

lena-"hi! Well actually been here with the boys and j. its been so much fun!"

mom-"marcus and martinus how could i forget! boys how are you?"

tinus-"hello! its good to see you!"

mac-"hello!"

i can tell they were all in shock cause i got a ton of different looks from all three of them.

j-"mom, dad i need to speak to you outside please."

dad-"excuse us kids."

i pulled my parents outside. there was no way they were here just for a visit. something had to be up.

j-"why are you guys really here?"

mom-"honey we have to go."

i coudlnt believe what she was saying. there is no way im leaving right before this concert.

j-"what do you mean we have to go? you havent been here to take care of me the boys have. you don't know whats best for me anymore. you left me. im not leaving them."

i was getting upset now.

dad-"j we are sorry we had to leave you but you can't be here. they are after us. we can't endanger the gunnarsens. you knew this going in."

j-"you never cared about me. in case you didn't know i have a life here now. im not coming with you. i can handle things on my own. i have all the stuff you gave me. excuse me i have a show to perform at. you can show yourself out."

i watched the two of them walk out of my life once more. i was so frustrated.

i went over to the stone wall and slumped down on the floor. i banged my fist against it.

i picked myself up off the ground. i went back into the room and clearly they were all listening cause when i opened the door they all fell on top of each other.

j-"so you guys heard all that i guess."

lena-"j im so sor-"

j-"no don't. its ok. thats just what they do."

everyone felt sorry for me. i could see it in their eyes. i just have to brighten the topic.

j-"hey no long faces! spektrum tonight! marcus and tinus you made it here!"

tinus-"yeah you are right."

j-"come on lets continue the game."

i tried not to show it, but i have a feeling something bad is about to happen. maybe i should have listened to my parents...
