i can't believe i finally did it. i summed up enough courage to ask j out on a real date. i don't know how it's gonna be today in school.

hopefully it won't be too weird when we see each other. i was trying to find something good to wear today.

marcus came into my room and he was all dressed and ready to go.

marcus-"are you ready?"

martinus-"i don't know what to wear."

marcus-"something nice it's the talent show today."

martinus-"i totally forgot! what are we gonna do?"

marcus-"i don't know we can just do love yourself on piano."

martinus-"okay alright."

i picked up a pink sweatshirt and black jeans to wear. i grabbed my bag and me and marcus walked out.

we saw j just coming out of her house. she was wearing a light blue sweater and grey jeans. she looked so cute.

she looked up and waved to us. she jogged over and smiled towards us.

j-"hey guys. ready for the talent show today?"

marcus-"yea we are!"

j-"what are you doing?"

martinus-"love yourself."

j-"you guys are gonna sound amazing."

marcus-"too bad you aren't in the show with us."

i shot marcus a look. he better not say anything.

j-"i don't perform though. besides that's your thing and elena's i guess. how good is she?"

martinus-"she's pretty good. i don't like to admit it but it's true."

j-"oh okay."

marcus just looked at me again. i shook my head no. we kept walking and as soon as we got into school elena was there.

elena-" look who it is mac and tinus and their personal stalker!"

mac-"what do you want elena."

elena-"oh well at least im not friends with her out of pity."

tinus-"its not out of pity it's because we like her."

elena-"i will see you guys later than at the show."

martinus-"yea good luck."

she started to walk away. thank god she is annoying.

j-"yea we all know you need it."

she turned back and looked at us. she started to laugh and was looking at me.

elena-"and what talent do you have? i don't see you performing in this show. besides even if you were in it you would suck."

marcus-"actually she wouldn't suck she would be better than you."

elena-"oh is that so? so then we will see you at the show."
