We were about 5 days into our voyage.
What was I doing, you might ask?
Lounging in the lobby?
No.
Enjoying the sauna at the spa?
No.
Eating some of the supposedly fine cuisine from the all you can eat buffet?
No.
Playing bingo with a bunch of old people?
No.
Puking my guts out in our cabin?
Ding ding ding! We have a winner!
I had fallen into a state of sea sickness since we had left port.
My family had all but abandoned me, leaving me only with the company of a box of saltines, reality tv, and my own puke.
Normally, my mother would scold me for being so vulgar, but she's up taking a tango class right now.
I didn't mind the aloneness so much, rather, I hadn't been able to see that Taylor kid. He had probably gone and made a bunch of friends already.
I tried to force down a saltine as I watched Kim Kardashian cry on TV. I hate the Kardashians with a burning passion. That's probably why I reached for the waste bin and puked up in it.
Kim's pain wasn't helping me feel any better (surprisingly) so I flipped the channels. It stopped on the News.
I was about to change it when the anchor woman said something sort of interesting.
"A large outbreak of piracy has broken out all along the coast of Europe with a strong centralism around the British Isles. More information will be shared when available."
Hm. Piracy, you say?
