Taylor and I dashed along the winding hallways of a ship.

Well, more like he was dragging me by my wrist and I was trying to my best to keep up.

Taylor threw open a door that let out a large gust of freezing wind. He dragged me outside and I immediately crossed my arms, shivering. He motioned for us to crouch behind a the viewing window. The wall helped block the wind but I still had goose bumps crawling up and down my arms.
"Do you want my jacket?", Taylor asked. I stubbornly shook my head, no.
He sighed and put his hoodie over my shoulders.
"I don't want your jacket.", I huffed.
He grinned, putting on a high falsetto voice.
"A gentleman always offers his jacket for a lady."
I chuckled. "You had to go to charm school, to?"
"Yep."
We both sighed.
"My parents are so annoying about things like that. The day I act like a proper lady is the day I die.", I said in a slightly dark way.
Taylor laughed.
"Wait. Why were you even running?"
"Tried to speak to the captain."
"Bout what?", He said while flicking some of his dark brown hair out of his eyes.
"Pirate attacks."
Taylor snickered and I fixed him with a sarcastic glare.
"Sorry, that's just, ya know, like something out of a book."
I shrugged.
"Guess so."

Suddenly, an explosion echoed through our ears.

Heeeeere comes Igwad.
