Wither Away...
I beg of you...
Don't let me look at the morning sun,
And think of all that I have done.
Don't let me loose myself in the abyss
of the daylight's touch and midnight's kiss.
Don't let me wonder and wander alone,
Without a love to call my own.
Don't let yourself, my personal sun
Give in to the eclipse sure to come.
Don't let your fondness and likeness of a child
Be perturbed and changed around.
But, let go of your tears, let go of your pain,
Let your pride fall down in droplets of rain.
To be strong is not ever losing your self control,
It is being courageous enough to carry on and let go.
I'm not implying you forget and run away from it all,
I'm promising that even from the heavens I will not let you fall.
I believe every end is where you begin.
That up in heaven you'll always have a friend.
So watch the view,
Let the sun come up as it may,
Let me go and I'll wither away...
