Kylie's P.O.V

I heave myself onto my bed, bury my face in my pillow, and cry. I cry harder than I've ever cried before. I cry for me, I cry for Niall, I cry for the baby inside of me. I cry for us.

I can hear everything that's going on downstairs. I can hear Kayley talking, Kara laughing, and Kaleb cooing. I can hear life going on without me. I pull my pillow over my ears in an attempt to shut out the noise. I pull my pink and brown polka dotted comforter on top of my body and just lie there, thinking.

I somehow manage to drag myself downstairs for dinner and take part in the normal family questions. "How was your day? What did you do today? How's Violet?" Yadda yadda yadda.

"Kylie, dear, you look pale. Are you ok?"'asks my mom, spooning peas into Kaleb's mouth.

"Yeah, just tired, I guess." I respond, pushing my corn around with my fork. I can see my mom raise an eyebrow out of the corner of my eye. She doesn't completely believe me, but she would never confront me about it. I push my chair back, causing a loud, scraping noise to echo through the house.

"I'm actually not very hungry.May I please be excused?" I ask politely. Dad gives a quick nod and I carry my plate over to the sink, then run upstairs to my room.

I enter my room to the sound of my phone ringing. The familiar tune of what makes you beautiful blares, startling me out of my daze.

"Hello?" I say, popping a pink stick of gum into my mouth. I'm caught off guard when I hear a familiar Irish accent on the other line.

"Um, hey, Kylie." Says Niall, and I can tell by the tone of his voice that he's nervous.

"What do you want?" I ask angerily into the phone, not wanting to forget our fight from earlier.

"I wanted to say I'm sorry. I want you to forgive me." He replies.

"You think it'll be over, just like that? You think a simple little "I'm sorry." will have me running back to you?" I say, blinking away the tears threatening to spill over onto my cheeks. "Well not this time, Niall. I'm done." I then hang up the phone, and slam it onto my desk. Whatever. I don't need him anyways. I look up at the clock above my bed. 8:30.Looks like I'm going to be early tonight. I pull a Tee shirt and shorts out of my dresser drawer, then head to the bathroom to change.I take off my regular clothes and turn on the shower. The sound of water hitting the tile floor soothes me, and I sit on the toilet, waiting for the water to warm up.

By 9:00, I'm out of the shower and curled up in my bed. I'm just about to start reading my book when the sound of rock hitting glass startles me. I throw my sheets off ,and run to the window. I open it as quietly as possible, not wanting anyone to come upstairs. I'm hit with a blast of cold air as I fianlly open the window. I look down, as that's where the rocks seem to be coming from. I see a figure, about 5"8, looking up at my window and chucking pebbles. In the teeny bit of light that's left, I can barely make out his face.

"Niall, what the hell do you think you're doing?" I scream- Whisper, leaning my head even farther out the window.

"The princess has awaken from her slumber?" he says in a mock British accent.

"Not in the mood." I spit.

"Now, be so kind as to tell me what you're doing At MY house in MY yard throwing rocks at MY window.

"Feeling a little possesive, eh?" asks Niall.

"Oh shut up."

"Make me." he replies. I sigh, then pull my bathrobe over my worn out Tee shirt and shorts. He's not leaving until I talk to him, so why not get this over with? I hurry quietly downstairs and scan the lower level of my house to make sure no one came down for a late night snack.
