****Char's POV****
The next morning I had planned to meet Pete in a little cafe around the corner from the hotel I was staying at. I obviously needed to see him and clear the air, otherwise Christmas would be really awkward aw we are spending the day at mum's together.

I was wearing a white long coat and some black jeans, along with a gold clutch bag.

I spotted him in the corner of the cafe and made my way over, stopping at the counter to order my breakfast and a tea

I spotted him in the corner of the cafe and made my way over, stopping at the counter to order my breakfast and a tea. He had his head down, so he hadn't noticed that I had arrived there yet.

"Hello," I said and sat down on the seat opposite him. "You look nice."

"You do too" He said and out his phone down. "So I feel we need to get straight to the point."

"Yeah, I just want to know how you're feeling now? I mean I'm moving in with Tom wether you like it or not, and I would love to have your approval." I said on the verge of tears. "I want my brother and to know that you could not approve of me doing something breaks my heart. I want you to lean on."

"I want that too sweetheart" He said and grabbed my hand. "I want to be the best big brother I can be."

"So how do you feel about it?"

"At the start I was worried because of what had happened to me in the past, I've been in toxic relationships where I have gone too fast. But I feel like now I know he won't try to hurt you and you feel like this is the next big step. I really approve."

"Thank you" I said. "But that doesn't excuse your girlfriend."

"Yeah she told me what had happened. She doesn't mean it, you know that. She's just trying to defend me and this time she got that wrong." Our meals came and we thanked the waiter before he carried on. "She was probably just drunk."

"I'll try and speak to her soon, but I make no promises."

*****

We went back to Essex that day and Danni and I were walking through the Christmas lights together having a catch up. She had gone home earlier in the week as she had an argument with Lockie.

I was wearing a beige cut out crop top and some ripped jeans, along with a bomber jacket.
