Often in life, people tend to leave. As a baby, you can be totally fine, but as time goes by, things change. That's what happened to my sister Brooke Payne. I'm left with her daughter Katrine. I need to take care of her. Brooke has been sent to a hospital to get taken care of. Her husband, Liam passed away after his kidney surgery. He only had one kidney. Brooke couldn't bare the pain. At only 19, she moved in with my husband Niall, Liam's best friend and I. She had to stop working. This death had a massive effect on her. She was left in this world, with his child. When little Katrine was born, she was just like her dad. She also had one kidney. Brooke went crazy. She couldn't deal with it and it killed me to see my sister in such pain, with me not being able to do anything about it.I promised her we would raise her child. She has attempted suicide many times, then Niall put her at the hospital that was not too far from our house. It's been 3 years now and little Katrine doesn't have any idea where she came from. She never saw her father, other than pictures and she only heard his voice by listening to his songs, as he used to be in a band called One Direction. Katrine is only 4 years old. She grew up with my kids, Liam and Naks thinking it was her siblings. The other boys who were in One Direction also got married and they often came over, as they all didn't live quite too far. Taking care of a child that's not mine felt weird at first, but after time, I got used to it.
