Sans looked at his hands.

"Wait, how do you know about cross, I never told you."

Sans mumbled. "Kid, don't question it."

You nodded and crossed your arms. "But how do we get ink?"
You asked while tapping your foot.

"I can try to break what little code is left and get out of the timeline, and then try to find him, you'd need to come as well, but with my magic messing up, I don't know."

You sighed.
"Could Alphys help at all?"

Sans shook his head side to side. Yet again you sighed.

"We should get home and then decide on what to do." You said while looking at sans.

He nodded and teleported both if you home. Not the smartest thing to do at the moment, but better than walking.

"Okay how do we do this now?" You asked while looking at the floor of your living room.

"Don't know, I guess we just do as much as we can." Sans chuckled quietly after.

"Well... Go for it?" You said while looking at him.

He nodded and sighed. His eye turned blue, then changed into several other colors before finally stopping on a cyan color.

Blue light was flickering from beside him. It was working.

He was giving his all, but it wasn't enough. You had to help somehow.

With a sigh of fear you held your soul in your hands and moved it closer to the almost crack In the 'code.'

It almost started working, but it felt like your soul was going to split Into.

Even though it could kill you, you kept going on, in an attempt to help even just the tiniest bit.

And when your efforts were pushed to the max, the void opened.

Both you and sans took a step back when it worked.

"Thank god." Sans mumbled j.der his breath

You quickly obsourbed your soul, and looked into the rip.

"Ladies first." You said while moving out of the way.

Sans glared at you. "Oh hah hah I'm so amused- HOLY FUCKING HELL"

Sans scooted back and looked at you as if saying GO.

You looked at what he was looking at.
Ink.
He was on the 'floor'

His brush broken into pieces and he was out cold.

Both you and sans rushed in, sans of course first.

Ink was unresponsive.
But what you saw in his chest made you sick.

A red
