Jealously.

"Y-You're pregnant?!" Renae asked shocked. She could feel her heart sink as she heard the words exit Monica's voice.

"Yes Aunt Renae..."

Renae covered her mouth and rushed up the stairs. She couldn't believe her ears. Was she jealous? Was she hurt?

The loud sound of Renae shutting her front door made everyone jump.

Cali stood up from the couch and began making her way upstairs. She knocked twice but she couldn't take the sound's of Renae's weeping.

Opening the door, she began to walk into the Renae's master bathroom. There sat, a crying Renae as she hugged onto her stomach.

"Renae!" Cali exclaimed. "Whats wrong?" Cali bend down as she comforted her sister.

Cali put her hand on her sister's chin and lifted it up. When Cali looked into Renae's  eyes her hearrt nearly shattered.

"I-I lo-ost the baby..." Renae cried.

Cali pulled her sister into a tight hold, as she began to rub her back. Cali put her head ontop of Renae's as they cried together.

"Its going to be okay Renae, just breathe."

"It was due to stress Cali! STRESS!"

"Breathe." All Cali could say was breathe. She didnt know what to say to calm her down but she was going to give that a try.

That night Cali had to put Renae to sleep. She slept over and stayed by her side and rubbed back.

Cali went home the next morning tired as hell. She wiped her eyes as she walked to her car. It was only 10 am but damn a girl was tired.

She was unlocking the door to her all white BMW when her  cellphone began to ring. Reaching into her back pocket, Cali pulled out her  5s.

"Hello?" She answered as she opened the car door, and sat down.

"Hey Cali... Its Kendrick."

Cali positioned her phone in between her ear and the crook of her neck as she started her engine.

"What's up?" Cali sighed.

"Nothing, I know you've been stressed and all. I was just wondering If you wanted to go to dinner?"

"Dinner? Um.. w-" Her phone beeped. "Holdup, someone's on the other line."

Cali quickly pressed the button to switch over lines as she began driving.

"Hello?"

"You have a collect call from..." The recording said.

"Bae. Its De'andre."

Cali pressed the breaks hard as she took a deep breath and pressed the button to accept the call. "Oh my gosh baby, I missed your voice so much....I miss you so much D.."

Snapping back into reality, Cali began driving, smiling her butt off.

"Baby, I needa talk to you.."

"Wassup?"

"I know who snitched.."

"WHO WAS I-" BEEP!

Cali's phone began beeping again as she was getting another incoming call.

Cali rolled her eyes. "Ugh why is Kendrick calling again.." She huffed into the phone.

"Wait what? That the same nigga who snitched on me! Da fuck is he calling you for?!"

Cali moved the phone away from her ear as she heard the word 'snitch' come out of De'andre's mouth. "Wait what? SNITCH?"

"Bae Ive been tryna call you but its been blocked everytime, Im even surprised this call even went through this time. Your friend Kendrick, he did some  shit and dug up some shit and boom! Weird how I just get locked up, out of the blue.."

"Are you kidding me?! NO wonder why he's been tryna get all close and shit with me."

"Close? My nigga been at the spot?"

"Yea... he even came the day you got arrested.. Oh my gosh, this is all making sense now." Cali shook her head,\

"Look bae, I gotta go...but I love you and stay away from him! You hear me?"

"Y-Yeah... I got you..."

Cali hung up the phone as she began to process the things Kendrick had been doing, It was all making sense now. But why?
