After hearing from the lawyers that De could possibly face 10 years or longer my heart was broken. We just got engaged and now I have to hear this shit?
I was knocked out of my thoughts as the doorbell rang.
I ignored it as I shifted in my bed.
I rung again. "Fuck man.."
I got up and made my way down the stairs.
"I dont know why people coming over when I dont wanna see no damn body." I rambled as I made my way over to the door.
When i opened it I saw nobody but the famous Kendrick himself.
"Cali"
"Kendrick." I paused "What are you doing here? Something happen to Monica?"
Kendrick laughed. "No no Cali...May I come in?"
I screwed up my face. "Uhh iight.." I opened my door wider so Kendrick could make his way through my door.
After Kendrick slipped off his shoes, we made our way over to my living room.
I sat down, making my pillow jump up a little bit.
"So Kendrick what brings you here?"
"Oh Cali..I just felt bad about the news I recieved on De'andre. I tried to talk to the guys about taking some years off but they've wanted him for some years now"
I frowned.
"Yea I just.. We just got engaged you know."
Kendricks eyes furrowed before changing his facial expression.
