Chapter 6

Flashback

I texted Louis to meet me at the cafè just downtown.

As of now me and Louis have been dating for a year and a half. Yes you can say that we are in love. I happen to very excited about sharing the news with him that we are expecting.

Once I spot Louis sitting down I quickly run up to him, and give him a quick kiss on the cheek.

"Hey love, so what's the great news that you couldn't wait to tell me?" He said to me with a big smile on his face.

"Louis, I'm pregnant!" As soon as those words left my mouth his smile quickly faded away.

"What do you mean you're pregnant?" By now he was almost shouting. He looked mad.

"I'm pregnant, which means that I am having a baby, which so also happens to be yours."

And with that he angrily stored out the door. That was the last time I've seen him.

Flashback Over

"If we didn't bump into each other yesterday would you still be wanting to meet them?" I couldn't help but ask. I had to ask. It was a must.

When he doesn't answer, I knew what the answer to my question was.

"So if it wasn't for yesterday we wouldn't even be here for now." At this point I was getting pissed. "I knew it." I was about to get up and get ready to leave, but Louis grabs my wrist heifer I can even get up from the table.

"Please stay, please" Louis pleaded. "Let me explain. Please Lex." So I gave into him.

"I was eventually going to go out looking for them, but when I saw them yesterday, I automatically knew that those were my kids. They looked so big, and in that moment I realized I've already spent a long time not being in their lives. I don't want to continue doing that. I want to be in their lives for now on."

"If you wanted to be in their lives, then why did you leave?! Explain that?"

"I didn't exactly just leave. I needed some time to think. I left town for a couple if days, and once I returned I tried contacting you, but you never returned my calls or txt. I even went over to tour parents house but you weren't there. I wasn't ready to be a father. Not at that age at least!"

"Do you think I was ready to be a mother. Especially not by myself. I had a future planned out for me as well."

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry I left, I'm sorry I want there for you helping raise 2 kids. I'm sorry! But please, please let me into my kids life. They deserve it know who I am. Please I'm begging you." Louis had tears in his eyes but he was fighting them back.

I almost feel sorry for him. Yet he brought this onto himself. Kinda. But what he said its true. He does deserve to be in their life. So as a mother I did what I had to do.

"They're turning 5 in 2 weeks so they're having a big birthday party. I'm inviting you. So if you want to go you may go."

"I'd love to go. Thank you. And I promise, from this day on I'll be there for them no matter what, and I'll make up all those years that I wasn't there for them. For you and our two kids."
