Chapter 18

Louis POV

I can't belive this. They dated! How dare she? Did she forget about him trying to end our relationship. Me leaving was proberly a great way for him to finally get Alexis. In the time while I was away when Lex was depressed and valnerable he was there to comfor her while i was gone being a dick of a father. Does that mean that he got to spend time with my kids. Oh my God Lea! Leah was very excited to see him, unlike she was to me. After finding out who i really am.

How long did they date for? And why? But most importantly what is she going to say?

"I...Zack. I'm I-" she starts to say but doesnt have enough time to finish her sentece before she gets interrupted by a fan recognizing me

There goes my cover.

"LOUIS! Oh my God, can i get a picture with you?"

"Sure love."

Once I have taken the photo I look towards Alexis. The color has completely vanished from her face. Then I look over towards Zack and he just sits there with a shocked expreassion on his face. but as soon as we make eye contact his lips turn into a smirk.

Dumb bastard.

I swear it's taking everything in me to not go over there and beat the living shit out of him, and wipe that stupid smirk off his face.

I look towards Lex one more time and the look on her face has turned to anger.

Well shit.

Alexis POV

Louis. Louis fuckin Tomlinson is here.

Did he follow me here?

"Daddy!" both Andrew and Leah run our of their seats to hug Louis.

Louis turns towards them and gives them a big smile. Which is obviously fake. He ruffles Andrews hair and pick up Leah and sets her on his hip. Those two have gotten close.

"Hey guys what are you doing here?" Questioning your 5 year old innocent kids to get information out of them. Good job Louis. Good job.

"We're here with mommy and her friend Zack." Oh Leah.

"Well I don't want to interrupt so I'll see you guys later." Louis angrily spats. "I'll stop by once you're done from here. Yeah?" he lowers down his tone of voice to talk to the twins.

"Can we go with you?" Leah ask him giving him the puppy dog eyes. And I know that he will say yes. He always says yes to her.

"You gotta ask your mum first." All of their heads turn to face me. Including Zack.

"Yeah you can go. I'll meet you there in a bit." I smile towards them. "You have a key to the house right?" this time I advert my question towards Louis.

"Yup." With that he walks out of the coffee shop with Leah still in his arms and holding onto Andrews little hand.

I'm sure gonna get it once I get home.

"So Louis back?"

"Yeah..."

"Oh."

Awkward silence.

"So right now doesn't seem like the right time to ask you about possibly getting back together." Zack nervously chuckles while scratching the back of his neck.

"I'm sorry Zack, but I should really get going." I say while already getting out of the seat.

"Yeah. Well maybe we can do this again some time?"

"Sure thing." I respond without even thinking. With Louis being around I don't think that'll happen. But again, he can't control who I hang out with.

"Bye Lex." and he reaches over to give me a hug. Of course I hug back.

"Bye Zack." I don't wait for him to respond. Cause once we release from the hug I'm heading towards the door.

Once I step foot in the house the first thing I see is Louis and the kids in the living room watching a movie.

Louis is the first to notice me. The kids don't seem to acknowledge my arrival.

I step into the kitchen preparing myself for the long dreadful conversation that I know will take place just about now.

"So you and Zack?" That seems to be the first thing that comes out of Louis mouth.

"What about me and Zack?"

"What's going in between the two of you? "

"Umm, nothing." He scoffs

"I'm not lying!" I defend.

He just looks straight at me before asking the question that I've been dreading since the coffee shop.

"Did you two date while I wasn't here?"

I don't answer his question, but my silence is all he needs.

"Unbelievable." he huffs under his breath.

"I can't believe that you dated him. Him! Out of all people is just had to be him?" Now we're into yelling.

"What did you expect. Did you expect me to stay single until the day you finally decide to return!"

"But did you have to date him? The guy who tried to ruin our relationship the minute he heard we got together. The guy who's had a crush on you since forever."

"Does it really matter?"

"Yes it matters! You dated a guy knowing that we completed hate each other!"

"At least he was the Dad that you weren't!" I angrily spat at his face.

"He was there for them when you weren't. So don't you dare say anything about me dating him because he was doing your job at being a father to them while you were out traveling the world." Once I'm finished with my 'speech' I look at Louis and see his eyes filled with tears threatening to spill.

Before I even have time to say anything else he leaves the kitchen and is heading towards the door.

"Yeah go ahead and leave! It's not like it's going to be the first time of you leaving."

"God dammit, I'm not leaving!"

"You'll leave eventually!" And it's true he'll be leaving soon tours coming up soon.

"I won't leave you. Not again."

"You're leaving on tour soon Louis."
