Chapter 14

I went into the mini kitchen and found a small container of unopened applesauce.
I went back outside, not talking to anyone, and climbed up to the roof with the applesauce in my back pocket.
I got up there and took it back out.
I opened the container and threw the lid down.
"Wait." I said to it after it flew down
"I didn't get to lick you." I said to it and looked down
"Hey! What is this?" I heard someone shout.
"Oh! Sorry Daryl!" I said to him, looking down at him
"Hey! What are ya doin up there?" he half asked and half yelled up to me
"The sunsets' pretty nice up here." I said taking the full view and I saw him lick the lid.
I looked over to see him struggle to come up here.
I giggled, "You have to go this way."
I put the applesauce on the side and got up to show him.
"Right here." I said and he nodded his head and climbed up fast.
I sat back down and poured it in my mouth, since there weren't any spoons.
I felt him sit next to me.
"Can I have some?" he asked me
"Hmm." I said and he raised his eyebrows.
"Okay, fine." I said and he tipped his head back. I poured some in his mouth, trying not to make it touch his mouth.
I giggled as he used his tongue to clean the mess up around his mouth.
"What. Is. That. Smell." I said holding my nose as I threw the container down.
"Oh, that smell?" he asked as he sniffed the air
"That would be the rabbit I hunted today." he said as he pulled it out of his bag
"If you want it down, you can take it down yourself." he told me.
I took it by it's tail and threw it.
Rick happened to be bent over, helping to plant the garden.
The rabbit hit his butt and almost made him fall over.
He turned around and I pointed to Daryl.
Daryl saw what I was doing and pointed back at me.
I smiled as Carl and Carol laughed, as they saw what happened.
I couldn't help but to watch him pick up the rabbit and look from it to us. He face was flushed with red in embarrassment and looked like he wanted to kill us.
