it wasn't intentional or maybe it was.

it was because of his rational thinking or maybe because his mind was not sensible at the moment that his emotions took over.

he pulled her to him like it was a reflex action after reading two names. it was the instinct that she needed someone to console her that moment.

and now that he already sis the act, that's when his conscious mind kicked in and embarrassment flood his head. he was too flustered to let go band meet her questioning eyes for he himself doesn't know why he did it either.

but even caught in surprise for some seconds, she managed to get herself together and gently pushed him away from her. he looked in daze for a moment and woke up when he heard her voice.

"don't pity me."

"I think hello is more appropriate. "

"you could've told that to yourself before hugging me."

"point taken but you're wrong."

"wrong?"

"i don't pity you."

"i can see it in your eyes."

"but you can't see what's on my mind."

"but eyes are the windows of one's soul."

"depends if one wanted to expose themselves, sunshine."

she turned away. afraid that he might read her for in her case she can't read him. and maybe he might see what she has in mind right now.

"i'm not your sunshine. i'm not anyone's sunshine for i'm as com as night and the light i give is never enough to light up the dark."

"oh. you might not be able to light up the dark but you've light up the moon, giving the right amount of brightness needed at night so you've perfectly done your job."
