she made up her mind.
she can't take it anymore. she was happy, yes but it doesn't mean her frustrations was gone. it only got worst, the nightmares we're always reminding her what she lost and what she is. it was sucking her in and when she tried to resist, it'll hunt her.
she woke up early that day and no time was wasted. she prepared the banner and she baked cake. she wrapped the gift she bought weeks ago and lastly she wrote a letter for him.
everything was set and she brought him to the venue. blindfolded him after she blocked his eyes. she never expected that he has no idea that it is his birthday today. maybe it was too occupied thinking about her whereabouts and trying to reach her.
he has no idea but it'll hit him when he saw her surprise for him.
"happy birthday."
"w-what?"
"i love you. always remember that and me."
and she kissed him after she said those words to to him, finally. she never felt obliged to say what she felt for him bug bow it was like a priority she needed to accomplish first. a poison that she need yo t take out before it kills her.
she used that as a distraction for her to get away from him. she stolen one last glance to the first guy she loved and probably the last.
she smile in contentment as tears flooded. she stepped back another after another.
she's sorry. he deserved someone better.
