"you left me outside the pouring rain."
"yes. that i did."
"you're not feeling guilty at all?"
"not at all."
"you surely got no heart."
"that, I have."
she chuckled as she tapped the space beside her. he sat there and flatten his back.
then he remembered something. his eyes flicked to his side where she was, head leaning on the window, eyes closed.
eyes. just eyes and nothing before it. he poked her cheeks with his point finger and her eyes fluttered open.
"where are those two circular transparent tool you place in front of your eyes and above your nose?"
"you mean my glasses."
"yes. i mean those hideous glasses you have."
"wow. you have a big problem with it?"
"the only thing big are your glasses. what happened? contacts?"
"nope and it uhm. . .dropped."
"dropped?"
his brows furrowed and he looked at her. he knew she was lying. she casted her eyes outside the window and bit her bottom lip. not engaging eye contact.
"i don't really want to talk about it."
he just gave her a nod and silence followed. the whole ride was cold, they never talked again. the rain decided to subside.
and the bus stopped, she stood up. she gave him that reserved smile and bid goodbye. she turned her back and left him.
