I woke up next morning with a satisfied smile on my face. I had a good nights sleep, as I had slipped into bed early that night, tired by last night's events.

But that smile soon slipped off, when the thought of going to school invaded my mind.

It's not like I don't want to go to school. It's the thought of facing Alexander King after the incident last evening.

I'm not even two days into the game and I'm already getting tired of it.

But no, I'm not giving up. Not so easily.
I have to understand that quarrels and misunderstanding like these are going to happen where Alex is concerned.

Honestly, the guy has ego problems. Not everyone is going to be using him for his money or looks. There are people who have other causes too. Like getting him on the correct path.

Maybe he just has trust issues? A voice whispered in my head.

I shrugged, not thinking about that matter any further.

After a quick shower, I found myself inspecting the clothes we'd buy yesterday.

Hmm, which one to wear?

Honestly, there were so many clothes in here, that I was so confused.

I decided to go with a dark grey crop top that covered my stomach properly. It said, "don't grow up, it's a trap". Ironic, how I won't be growing up now, anyways. High waisted jeans and white tennis shoes completed my attire.

Taking a white colour button down and tying it around my waist, I picked up my backpack and raced down to the front door, almost forgetting to have my breakfast.

Pouring a glass of milk for myself, I gulped it down quickly and popped my medication into my mouth.

Humming, I went to check myself in the bathroom mirror.

My brown hair flowed past my shoulders and looked somewhat neat today, considering the fact that I had actually made an effort to look nice enough today.

Nevertheless, my light blue eyes looked tired like always. Sighing, I rubbed them and leaned my head against the door.

Scanning my face, I decided to give it a little change today.

Standing in my tiptoes, I rummaged in the cupboard my mother put all her makeup. I, for one, did not own any.

I plucked out a cherry flavoured chapstick and applied it on my lips.

Next, I decided to do something with my eyes.

A black tube of mascara caught my eyes, and I snatched it from the corner.

Gingerly shaking the bottle, I opened it and applied it onto my long lashes, the only part of my face, I'm proud of.

After applying it onto both lashes, I decided to leave it as it is and left the bathroom, before picking up all the mess and putting it back into its place.

I tiptoed to the front door, afraid that of waking up my mother, who'll no doubt have a heavy hangover at this time.

Scanning my surroundings, I reached for the front knob to open the front door and escape. But looks like, luck wasn't on my side.

"Madison?", my mother crocked as she stood there in nothing but a nightgown.

I slowly turned my head away, facing the ground I spoke, "Y-yes mother?"

"Where are you off to?", she asked me in a harsh whisper.

I flinched at her tone and continued to stare at the ground.

"S-school."

"Whose clothes are those?", she suddenly asked me in a suspicious tone.

"M-mine", I replied. After all , Alex had bought them for me, so it isn't like I was lying or something.

"Don't you dare lie to me, you little-", she shouted at me, but stopped clutching her head.

"Ugh, these hangovers", she groaned," go to school, after that you get straight back home, we'll have a nice, long chat then.", saying so she turned, and headed towards her room.

Sighing in relief, I bolted out from the door, before she could come back and stop me.

Walking to school, I got a huge shock.

Alex was sitting on top of his car, as a huge crowd surrounded him.
He had a guitar in his hand and had a smirk plastered in his face.

When he saw me coming, he said, "There you are, my princess."

Let me tell you, which got me very, very confused.
