Road to recovery chapter 18

I laughed as I grabbed my coat, and watched as Tom and Andy arrived back. I kissed Andy's ice cold lips. "I love you Andy," I smiled, he smiled back and hugged me, "I love you too."

 Tom covered his eyes and I kissed his forehead, "I'm going to the doctors ok?" I asked on the way out. Andy nodded and they waved me off. I walked at a moderate pace until I reached the health centre for my regular check up. "Abbey Swan" The speaker called out. 

Everyone looked, I put my hood up and walked down the hall. I opened the thick chestnut door to find a pretty young girl. "Hello Miss Swan, please take a seat?" she offered. "Thanks," I smiled. The woman took my blood pressure and examined the scar. I flinched when she touched it as it still hurt.  "How have you been feeling recently?" She asked. I half - smiled, "Better thank you, I now have a little boy." 

A different expression appeared on her face, "That's wonderful, your's or adopted?" She asked curiously.  I blushed, "My boyfriend saved him from a burning wreckage, he was an orphan." 

She looked in disbelief, "He sounds like a hero, there needs to be more people like him, what is his name? your boyfriend that is?" I giggled, "Andrew, Andrew Biersack." 

She looked astonished, "Oh wow! I love Black Veil Brides!" she squealed. I giggled to myself, "I can get you backstage passes for free if you like?" She giggled with excitement, "That would be wonderful!"

 I laughed and she finished the examination," Don't forget to take you anti-biotics and painkillers," she said as I was putting my top back on. " I won't thank you, here is my number," I smiled as I wrote it down on a note and made a swift exit. 

I returned home to a romantic atmosphere, puzzled no-one was around. I walked upstairs to find my beautiful boyfriend lying on our bed, like a model. I ran and jumped in to our oh so familiar four poster bed to cuddle with him, he giggled and began to kiss me. "What about Tom?" I managed to fit in. "At..... Jake's" he tried to reply, I giggled and hugged into him, I love him so much.

About an hour later someone knocked on the door, It was Jake. He was standing with a frowning Tom. "What's wrong?" I asked puzzled. He pointed to Tom and encouraged him to speak," Mam I didn't mean it, I'm sorry," He began to cry. I looked at Jake not understanding what was going on. "He tried running back here, he said he didn't want you to go to the doctor alone because he was always scared and didn't want you to be!" I looked at Jake a wave of emotions flooded over me.

"I know you were worried Tom but you can't run away sweetheart," I smiled. Tom gazed up at me with guilt in his eyes. I embraced him in a hug,"You don't need to worry I'm not going anywhere." He smiled and I thanked Jake for looking after him. I felt so lucky to have this amazing boy in my life, he considered me as his mum and I considered him to be my son, I had developed so much love for him and Andy saving him was the best thing that ever happened to us.
