Forever

I arrived at the hospital, "Miss Swan?" The nurse called for me. I nodded and followed her down the mundane corridor to a small dainty room. "Okay so what seems to be the problem?" She asked putting her latex gloves on.

I explained all my symptoms and she let out a small laugh, "Have you done a pregnancy test Miss Swan?" I looked at her puzzled, "No."

She walked over to the cupboard and pulled out a small pot, "Please can you provide a urine sample?" I nodded and walked to the small unisex toilet. I returned with the small pot and handed it to the nurse.

"This should take five minutes," She said as she dipped the test into the pot.

We sat in silence awkwardly waiting for the result. "Ah," She said looking at the test, "Miss Swan, how do I tell you, your pregnant, congratulations!" She smiled. My face dropped, I felt sick. 

"I will arrange for you to see a midwife," She said typing on her computer. I put my head in my hands dreading what would happen next. "Are you alright Miss Swan?" The nurse asked anxiously. I shook my head, "I can't be pregnant, we were always careful," I sobbed. 

The nurse chuckled, "Dear mistakes happen, we can discuss other options if you do not want the baby." I gasped, "I didn't say I wanted to get rid of them, I'm just not ready."

I slid back into the chair and wiped my eyes, Andy would freak out. 

I walked out of the dainty room with my appointment for the midwife and headed along the white corridors back too Andrew. "Babe," I sobbed, "I'm pregnant." He looked at me puzzled, "Isn't that good news?" 

I stopped my crying and looked into his eyes, "Do you want this?" I asked him a hint of caution in my voice. "Of course babe, only if you can do this," He replied.

My heart broke, I was torn. Did I really want this baby? I already had my family, Tom and Andy.

I'd have to think about this seriously. "Mummy, why are you crying?" Tom asked me pulling on my sleeve. I snapped out of my thoughts and crouched down so I was level with him, "Tommy do you want a baby sister or brother?" I asked holding his tiny hand.

"Of course mummy, then I will have a friend," He giggled putting his hand on my face. I put my hand over his and sighed, "We can do this."

Andy nodded and embraced me, I snuggled deep into him, enjoying the moment. We were going to be a family, a whole family.

We walked to the car but stayed silent. I felt sick. "Breakfast?" Andy asked grinning. I nodded, "I'm dying for a bacon sandwich," I giggled. We all chuckled and headed to the diner. Andy's phone started to ring, it was the guys, "Hey sup? Oh... Meet us at the diner on East Street so we can talk? OK bye," Andy looked glum, something was bothering him.

"What's wrong honey?" I asked placing my hand on his knee. He just sighed, "We need to talk later babe," He replied bluntly.

I could cut the tension with a knife, "Mommy, is everything alright?" Tommy asked curiously fiddling with the straps on his seat. I looked back over my shoulder to see my anxious little boy, "Yes baby," I lied.

We arrived at the diner and Andrew ordered our food, I could see fans staring at us from other tables as the rest of the guys sat in our booth with us. 

"So.. have you told her?" Jinxx asked nervously. Andy shook his head and took a huge drink from his plastic coffee cup. "Told me what?" I said puzzled. The guys shared an awkward look with each other, "We are on tour on and off for the next few months, we thought you knew?" Christian blurted.

I gasped, "How could you not tell me?" Andy sat there staring into his cup, "I'm sorry babe, I completely forgot."

I put my hands on my head, "I'm guessing they don't know about me?" I asked a small hint of anger laced in my voice. He shook his head. "Told us what?" Ashley piped up sitting next too Tom. 

"I'm pregnant!" I sighed. They all gasped and stared at Andy, "Dude, congratulations!" Jake yelled giving me a hug. I flashed a false smile. He gets me pregnant now he's about to leave me for months on end with a child and unborn baby.

Andy was awfully quiet I didn't like it. "Daddy is that true?" Tommy asked upset. Andy placed his hands on Tommy's face, "It's not forever and you can come visit," He said holding back tears.

We finished our discussion and the outcome is:

1. He goes away with the band and we meet every three weeks

2. Tommy can stay with Andy for one night while I stay at home

3. Contact every day too make sure each other is okay

We sat in the small car in silence I drove us back to our home, the guy's left to pack for the tour. "Babe, are you sure?" He asked me rubbing the back of his neck. "Yea, as long as you keep your promise and stay faithful," I replied disheartened that he was going. He come behind me and held me tight, "I love you," He whispered into my ear. I wiped the tear from my cheek that had escaped my eye, "I love you more..." I replied.

I helped him carry everything to the tour bus which parked outside our house when I heard a weird sound from the inside. "What's that?" I asked. He smiled and opened the door, "Too keep you safe while I'm not here, I decided you needed a best friend," He replied giddy. At that moment the door opened to the bus and a beautiful rottweiler and my son came down the stairs. 

"Mommy look at Prince!" He yelled excitedly. I giggled, "He's beautiful but I don't have anything for him."

"That's where your wrong," He replied kissing me. "EW!" Jinxx exclaimed following Tom out of the trailer, "You might need these," He said handing me a dog bed which contained all the stuff I needed for him.

"Thank you," I cried tears of joy. He smiled and embraced me into a deep kiss, "I will ring you as soon as we get there I love you," He said pecking me on the cheek. He strolled over to Tom and handed him a small envelope, "I'm going to miss you buddy, give this to mum when I'm gone, I love you son," He said kissing him on the forehead.

We waved goodbye and I felt like an emotional wreck, we walked Prince into the house when Tom gave me a small envelope I opened it eagerly. It read:

Until we come back here is a little something, oh yeah and the address for where we are staying is 112 Evergreen street Nevada. Don't forget I'm only a phone call away.

I pulled the letter out and a small wad of money fell out onto the table. I gasped, "That would be enough to see us through til when he comes back next month," I whispered to myself.

I know he just left but I can't wait to see him again...
