"Opening Up"
Nicole argees to met up with Mark. She's bring Monica with her for support. Mark is in love with Nicole but Nicole doesn't notice because she blinded by the hurt of her past.
Mark is 6'5 a caramel fine something with dreads.
He walks into the restaurant where he finds Nicole and Monica sitting. When Nicole sees Mark she fumble over her words to say hey. Mark sits down and says "Nicole I just want to hear about your past and why you shut down when I bring up church" Monica says "Bestfriend just be honest with him" Nicole takes another sip of her wine and says "Mark, I haven't talked about this in so long but I guess have to talk about it to heal from it" Mark grabs her hand as a tear fall from her eye. She goes on saying " On February 7th, 2000. My stepfather & my mom got into a argument & my mom left me at the house alone, so my stepfather came in my room yelling and woke me up out of my sleep" Monica wipes Nicole face as the tears just continue to fall.
Nicole goes on "He forced himself on me, I cried for help but he covered my mouth. He touched me in place that shouldn't have been touched. He told me that if I told anybody he would break my neck. I stayed locked up in my room for days, missed school didn't eat but nobody knew anything"
