Monica keeps replaying the conversation with Chole in her head
Thinking to herself like how would she tell her bestfriend that her "soon to be husband" been sneaking around on her for awhile
Monica was confused on how to break the news.
Nicole walked into the Forever 21 and bumped into a tall light skin guy with a pretty smile.
Nicole: "Oops, excuse us"
Chris: "Oh no, shorty. Excuse me"
Chris and Nicole pass by each other then she notice that he is walking back over towards her
Chris: "I'm not meaning to distract you but you're really beautiful and I can't help but to ask for your name"
Nicole had a weird but good feeling about this guy
She looked up and they locked eyes
They had a slight staring contest but Monica walked up grabbing Johann out of her arms knocked her out of her daydreaming thoughts
Monica whispered "Bestfriend, who is this"
Nicole: "My name is Nicole, what about you"
Chris, my name is Chris
Monica looked at me then looked at Chris and she broke the silence saying "and my name is Monica and this Johanna, Nicole's daughter"
Chris: "Johanna is a pretty name for such a pretty little girl. Nicole, it was nice meeting you"
Chris walked out of the store dropping his phone on purpose hoping Nicole would pick it up and bring it to him..
After awhile of shopping in the store, walking out Nicole noticed the phone and when she looked at the lock screen it was a picture of Chris with his shirt off
Nicole thinking to her "oh my, he is one fine something"
Monica and Johanna where headed to the car as I paid, Looking around I seen Chris going into the shoe store. I followed him just to give him his phone
Chris: "Oh so now you following me?"
Nicole feels herself blushing "Actually, I was coming to give you your phone" handing the phone to Chris
Chris waits a second before grabbing the phone "How about you out your number in my phone"
Nicole thinks about Mark in the back of her head but she knows that Chris will be nothing but a friend. So she puts her number in his phone and says her goodbyes

Back at Monica house
"Nicole, who was that guy that was talking to you" Monica yells from the bathroom
"Girl, his name is Chris and we bumped into each other as me and Johanna was walking into the store"
Monica comes from the back, walking into the living room. "Bestfriend, I seen you blushing. Do you like him"
"Monica, I was not blushing and I barely know the guy"
"Bestfriend, I know you better than anybody else and you was blushing"
Nicole sat down thinking, "was she growing out of love with Mark, have i turned my love off for him"

5:30 the time reads as Nicole sits outside her house
She was going to home after being at Monica's house for almost a month
"God, please help me with this situation and give me a sense of peace, Amen"
Nicole gets Johann out the car and takes her in the house.
As Nicole walks in she hears slow jams playing from the bedroom, she lays Johanna in her bed and heads towards the room as she hear a female voice saying "Mark, slow down"
Nicole bust in the room to see a female laying in her bed while Mark jumps up off top of her and yells "This isn't what it looks like"
Nicole blood starts to rush, while Mark and the girl scramble to try and find their clothes. Nicole shuts the door and go get Johanna. In Johanna closest is money that Nicole saved for a rainy day, Knowing that Mark can't cover bills by himself the house was the last thing on her mind. Entering the numbers in the safe, she grabs all the money out and throws it in her purse and heads out the door. While leaving out she sees the chick running to a Red Camry, the kind of car her cousin has.
I sit in the car holding Johanna crying. "I gave him years, a baby and to think I was willing to come back"
Nicole arrived at Monica house
Monica comes to the door to see her puffy red eyes and Johanna sleep on her shoulder
"Bestfriend, what the hell is wrong with you" Monica says as Nicole walk through the door
"Monica, he had another chick in my bed and they was having sex"
As Nicoe phone starts to ring, she paid it no attention.
Silence fell into the room, Nicole sat there rocking back and front bawling her eyes out.
Monica takes Jo to the back room, giving Nicole some space. Nicole lays down and cry herself to sleep.
Monica feels bad for her friend and knowing what Chole told her made her feel even worst. She needed to tell her bestfriend what she knew and fast.

The Next Day
Nicole POV
As I was in the shower, I felt a sharp pain in my stomach, but I ignored and get out the shower drying off and get dressed. I was brushing my hair while I began feeling lightheaded and the sharp pain returned this time hitting me hard then before.
Monica stands in the doorway "Bestfriend, what's wrong with you, why you holding your stomach"
I feel myself about to vomit, turning to the toilet, emptying what I ate last night and the little bit of breakfast I had. Monica crossed her arms over her chest "Bestfriend, please say this can't be" implying that she's pregnant.
I wiped my mouth, "Monica, it could be but I don't know."
As I looked at my period tracker and noticed I was 2 weeks late. Locking my phone and put it on the counter.
"Cole, we might as well go get you a test."
"Can you go get it for me, I rather stay here"
"Alright, I'll be back and stay your butt in the bathroom" Moncia yells while leaving out the door.
The store was only about a 3 minute drive but it felt like forever, I was weak and barely wanted to move but I felt a sense of relief when I heard Monica coming back from the store..
My phone started ringing and it lit up displaying "Mark🖤" the thought what we had made me mad causing me to flip my phone over.
"Cole, come and pee on this stick"
After pacing back and forth, the 5 mintues felt like years.
Monica picked up the test as the timer went off, "Best, you're pregnant" I sat on the floor in front of the toilet covering my face with my hands.
My mind filled with thoughts
Mark was the father but I didn't want to talk to him at all.
Monica hugged me tight and rubbed my back "Best, I've been here and I'll be here through this. You got this, we got this"
