"Missing In Action"
38 weeks in this pregnancy and Nicole is getting ready to pop carrying baby Johanna, as she notice that Mark isn't home. Her water broke a hour ago, she takes a shower and her contractions are getting closer together. She checks off things on her list and calls Monica over because she can't do this alone.
Monica gets there "Bestfriend, you about to drop this baby any minute"
Nicole:"Yes I know and Mark is nowhere to be found"
Monica:"What do you mean"
Nicole:"I have seen him in since Wednesday and Jaylan said he was over there but he left and he hasn't heard from since Thursday."
Monica:"Well bestfriend we going to get these bags packed and head to the hospital"
Monica helps Nicole get Johanna and her bag packed. Nicole grabs her pillow locking the door saying in her head. "I pray that Mark gets his butt to this hospital. He already in a world of trouble"
As Nicole gets checked and up to her room she tries calling Mark twice but no answer. She leaves a message "Mark, if you know what's good for you. You would bring your butt to the hospital and don't give another reason to raise some sand"
Nicole is settled and her doctor comes in to check her cervix. Ms.Smith you are 4cm dilated. I'm going to advise you to walk for like 15 to minutes to help speed up this labor. You're doing great.
Monica and Nicole are walking up and down the halls as Monica phone goes off. She missed all call from Mark but it's time for her to help Nicole back into the room.
Nicole calls Mark again this time he answers "Hello Mark, I'm not about to argue with you nor have this talk while I'm in labor but I know one thing that you better be here in the next 20 minutes." and she hangs up.
She's overfilled with emotions. Jaylan and Kholé comes to keep her company while Monica goes to the store.
Mark gets there and he has a on shades with a hoodie that has a little blood stain on it. He comes in the room and all eyes are on him. Nicole notice the blood on the hoodie. "Jaylan can you take your brother to our house to shower and get himself a bag packed." Jaylan grabs his keys and tell Mark to come on.
6cm dilated and these contractions are hurting but Nicole wants to do this thing natural just for once.
Mark returns and everybody clears the room so they can talk.
Mark:"Hey babe"
Nicole:"Where have you been for the past 3 days? And please don't lie because you already on line ice tread lightly"
Mark:"I left my brother house Thursday and I went to see my sister but me and her bf got into a fight so I just didn't come home.
Nicole:"But Mark just because you and her bf got into a fight doesn't mean not to come home to your pregnant woman. I trust you Mark but you had me nervous"
Nicole is now 9 1/2 cm dilated
Doctor: We're going to go ahead & get ready for you to start pushing.
Monica,Mark and Ms.Laura are the three the room while Mark brother and fiancé along with Nicole brother but Nicole mother is here but she hasn't seen her mother since she was 10. She's 25 now.
