"Shattered"
As Nicole drives to Monica house she's wipping the tears from her face. How could Mark do this to her after all they've been through together? Nicole phone lights and she sees the picture of Mark holding Johanna. She ignores the phone.
She knocks on Monica door as she waits for her to answer Nicole just looks at her phone.
Monica comes to the door
"Bestfriend, what you crying for? Where your ring? What happened?"
"Monica, It's a long story. Mark has another baby on the way by Chole."
"Bestfriend, let's go get her why in the heck would she mess with Mark, wait no better yet why is Mark messing around on you?"
Nicole sits there holding Johanna lost for words.
"Bestfriend, I work day and night, cook, clean and take care of everything else. When he got laid off from his job I was the only one there motivating him to keep pushing. Monica this hurts me to the core and for it to be with my enemy it just hurts me even worst."
Monica leaves Nicole and Johanna to get food. When she returns they are sleep on the floor. Monica puts a blanket over there and goes to bed.
In the morning Nicole is up but she has called out of work because she just needs a day to get her mind together. She plans on leaving Johanna with Monica and going to talk to Mark.
She leaves Monica house and arrives at home. Mark isn't there so Nicole starts to pack up clothes for Johanna, Mark comes home to find Nicole sitting on the couch waiting to talk.
"Hello Mark, I've been here waiting for you to get here for hours. Seems like you didn't stay here last night, did you?"
"Hey Babe, nice to see you to see you too, I did sleep here last night, I went for breakfast with Tj and my brother."
"Oh do they know that you have another child on the way?"
"Nicole, let me make this clear I want this to work with us and yes I know it's my second time hurting but Nicole I want this relationship,this family, this bond we have to last."
"Mark, what we have is something I can't get with anybody. I don't want Johanna to grow up without a family. You're her father and I'm her mother I would like for her to grow up knowing that she is loved and in a happy home with us. When you got on one knee I didn't hesitate to say yes to you because of the love you have showed me but this, this right here isn't love Mark."
Mark knows that his words can't repair the hurt, his actions has to add up. He wants Nicole but she wants more answers, the timing isn't adding up.
