Nicole's Story

Chapter 13

"Confessions"

Nicole sits on the couch shaking because Mark has her heated to a point of no return.

Mark:"Babe, I know..." Nicole cuts him off. Mark cut all that babe, bae, or baby bullcrap because I don't want to hear it.

Mark:"Well, I know your cousin from the club the other month."

Nicole looks at Mark like "oh you done messed up" Nicole stands up saying "Carry on"

Mark tries to say under his voice that him and her cousin had a one night stand.

Nicole: "Nah Mark, speak up dude. You want to be a man right, be man enough to own up to your slip ups. Keep it a band with me dude don't have me out here looking stupid before we got into this relationship you said you wanted to be here for my healing but now it seems like you heard my heart break but to drag me threw another one."

Nicole steps away from Mark because she knows her temper can have her reacting crazy sometimes.

Nicole: Continue on

Mark goes on to say"Nicole, me and your cousin had a one night stand."

Nicole:"You mean to tell me that my cousin is the female reacting texting and calling me telling me to leave you alone because you her man. Mark I can't believe you for 1 you said she was just a friend. 2 a one night stand when you got a full live gf that's willing to give you anything you ask for. 3 we smashing randoms now.
Come on Mark, how is that love? And i don't want to hear the normal lines.
I was drunk, she came off on me, "Hennything" is possible.

Mark walks over to Nicole trying to calm her down as she just drop her head. She pushes Mark away yelling "Mark you let me down, ig my mom was right when she told me promises where only meant to be broken"

Mark sees the hurt in her eyes but he tells her "I'm not like the others, Nicole I'm here to stay. No matter what you stay, I'm not going nowhere because you have a heart and i refuse for my seed to grow up without a family and a father."

Nicole walks off to the back room and slams the door and slids down the door sobbing. Nicole mind and heart is heavy, Mark was one of the first goes she fell in love with that really showed her the finer things to life. Real love is what Nicole was feeling. Mark stands at the door "Nicole, I'll sleep on the couch tonight but know one thing I love you."

Nicole stays up looking at the ceiling as these thoughts run through her head. She falls asleep with a heavy heart and mind.

The Morning After

Nicole wakes up feeling the bed to fine it empty because Mark slept on the couch. She gets up to pee and cook breakfast. Mark smells bacon and pancakes he gets up and hugs Nicole from behind saying "Good Morning Baby"

Nicole and Mark sits down to eat breakfast. "Mark, I was up late lastnight thinking and I want to forgive you for your actions because you are really making a effort to be here for me and your baby. I want to put this behind us a strive greatly in our future together for our baby and our family. I love you for being here baby" she leans to give Mark a kiss.

Marks gets up to put the plates in the sink then to shower. Nicole has plans to meet up with Monica and Ruby in a couple hours to do a little shopping.

Ruby still doesn't know that Nicole knows about the one night stand but Nicole just wants to make sure Ruby is fully aware that Mark is her man and that Ruby and Nicole bond is a never changing thing.

Nicole tells Mark "I'll be back be soon going out with Monica. Gimme a kiss"

Mark calls his brother over so they can chill while Nicole is gone.

Ruby,Monica and Nicole are all sitting down at Starbucks at a busy day of shopping. Nicole says "So Ruby I know what happened between you and Mark." Ruby eyes get big. "I'm a little disappointed but me & Mark have a future planned out together and we are ready for the bumps and bruises that come along with it but you have to know what happened between y'all won't ever happen again and that's soon to be your cousin-in-law just to throw that in the air. Much love cousin."
