The Next Day
Monica's POV
As I sit on the side of my bed, I remember telling Cole not to go over to the house because I knew it wasn't gonna be no good. That night her and Mark ended up having sex and now she's pregnant by him. Hearing Johanna coming in the room yelling "Auntie" at the top of her lungs, quickly snaps me out of my thoughts.
"Yes, auntie baby. what is it?"
"Where my momma go?"
"Well baby, she went to the doctor because she wasn't feeling the best. She'll be back soon, let's go get breakfast"
Monica picks up Johanna while going to the bathroom getting ready so they can leave and get breakfast.

Nicole's POV
I scroll through my Instagram feed as a picture of Johanna pops up that Monica posted and the caption reads "What Auntie baby wants, auntie baby gets" I smile and double tap and keep scrolling while waiting for my name to be called.
5 mintues later
"Nicole Smith" the lady calls while holding a clipboard
I walk to the scale as directed and then I sit in the room waiting for the doctor to come.
I haven't been to the doctor since Johanna had to come for her check-up and to make sure she caught up on her shots..
The doctor knocks on the door, snapping me out of my thoughts.. "Hey Nicole" Dr. Halle says while entering the room
"What brings you here today?"
"Well, I haven't been feeling like myself her lately so last night my bestfriend had me take a pregnancy test and it came back positive. I'm just here to make sure and start the prenatal care I need for the baby and I"
Dr. Hallie smiles as she hear me say "baby and I"
"How's babygirl doing & how's the engagement?"
Nicole shakes her head "Babygirl is doing well, she's about to be 2 and as far as the engagement, there really isn't one."
Dr. Hallie looks shocked. Dr.Hallie delivered Johanna and she's like a mother to me so for her to hear that the engagement is off breaks her heart..
The nurse comes in with the cup for Nicole to par so they can test it. Nicole leaves and comes back handing the cup to the lady.
Dr.Hallie: "Nicole, you can't be serious. Y'all make the cutest couple and the cutest kids."
Nicole: "That's what everybody thinks, Mark has another child on the way. I just caught him cheating yesterday in my house, in my bed and he had the nerve to say "it isn't what it looks like."
Dr.Hallie is blown away "Nicole, you'll have to come over so we can finish talking"
The nurse comes back in with the results "Congratulations Ms.Smith, your having a baby"
I smile and say thank you but in the back of my head I'm hoping this is all a dream. Being pregnant is a blessing but knowing that it's Mark baby makes me wish I would've listen to my bestfriend that night.
My phone dings letting me know I got a message and it's from my bestie estie

Me
Welp, I'm having another baby. I got some errands to run, you got little mama for me?

I leave Monica on read, knowing I have to straighten things out with the people that we are renting the house through so it doesn't look bad on my part and knowing I have to go to the house and pack Johanna and my stuff up because I'll be living with my bestfriend for awhile.

As I pull in the driveway I see that red car that I seen yesterday
Thinking to myself like "he can't be serious to have the same chick over here again, after they got caught yesterday"
While walking into the house I see my cousin and Mark laid up together on the couch.. "Ruby, get up and get out"
Mark tries to reach for arm while I walk to the back but I moved to fast. "Mark, stop following follow your girlfriend out the house"
"Nicole, why you let them put a eviction notice on the door"
"Mark, I didn't let them do nothing. I haven't been sleeping here for a month so I'm not about to pay the bills that I don't use. Remember, you wanted a family and you wanted this house everything is in your name so you go handle it"
"Nicole, you just gonna leave me to do this alone?"
I try to fight back my tears while hearing his voice crack as the word "alone" leave his lips. I get myself together and wipe my face
"Mark, leave you. Yes Mark I'm leaving you to do this alone. Over the course of a year and 5 months you've gave me nothing but your butt to kiss. After you proposed to me, you changed. Johanna is about to be 2 and there isn't a night that she doesn't ask when we coming home to you. I can't continue to allow her to see us fight and have yelling matches every other day because you out here sneaking around and now that it has caught up to you.. You don't want to do it "alone" Well suck it up because I'm not doing this anymore, I'm packing the rest of Johanna and I stuff that's here and we gonna stay with Monica until I find something for the 2 of us"
In the back of my mind I want to tell him about the baby but I can't stress myself anymore. As I finish packing, I put all the bags in the car and then I go back in the house to get my keys and phone. Mark grabs me by my waist and pull me into him.
As much as his grip feels good, I can't help but to think about how many chicks he's been involved with.
Mark leans in for a kiss and I turn my head, walking out of his grip. "Mark, I love you but I've fallen out of love with you. I'll bring Johanna by tomorrow to see you. Goodbye"
Mark feels empty because his worst nightmare just happen, he has lost the woman of his dreams and his daugther.

3 hours later
Monica's POV
Nicole been home for about a hour now and she's still in the back unpack her and little mama stuff while I clean up.
"BESTFRIEND" I yell from the kitchen while Cole is in the back
"Yes bestie, why you yelling"
"Didn't know of you could hear me but did you tell him about baby #2?"
"Best, nooo. I can't tell him just yet, but I did say I would bring Johanna by there tomorrow."
"Well Cole, have you talked to Chris"
"No, I haven't texted him. I got too much going on to bring him in the mix"
"Makes sense but you better use his number before I do" Cole starts laughing while I walk out the kitchen.

Nobody's POV
Chris been texting Nicole since he got her number the other day. He wants to go get to know her and be her friend.
Nicole can't stop thinking about what just took place today, her cousin and Mark been sleeping with each other, Chole has a baby on the way by him, he been sleeping with whoever else and now he sees the damage he's done. Now she's regretting telling Mark that she will bring Johanna over tomorrow.
Mark is upset about everything because he never thought he would lose Nicole and Johanna but he failed to realize that every action comes with a consequence rather he likes it or not.
Monica is happy that Cole is no longer dealing with Mark and has moved in fully. She's always there for her bestfriend and never wants to see her hurt but somethings are inevitable.
Chole is 8 months pregnant by Mark and he's nowhere to be found, he hasn't went to any of the appointments or called to check on his son.
Nicole isn't mad at anyone besides Mark, she feels bad because she's pregnant by him again but there's nothing she can do. Nobody knows but Monica so hopefully everything goes smoothly.
