"Aches and Pains"
As Nicole sits at the table she feels a very sharp pain that takes her breath away. "Nicole, are you okaay?" Mark brother Jaylan asks her as he sees her gasp for her breath.
Nicole:"I'm fine Jaylan, just a little heartburn" She didn't want to alarm Mark because he gets very nervous and freaks out when it comes down to stuff like this.
They finish dinner and Jaylan and Shonda says there goodbye's and leave. Nicole goes straight to bed because the pain she is feeling is making her hurt but she's going to tough it out until the morning.
Morning comes and Nicole is in pain that's unbearable to deal with.
She managed to get out the house and to the doctor office without waking Mark. As Nicole sits waiting for Doctor Hallie to come in the room she rubs her stomach praying it's nothing and something that can be taken care of easily.
Doctor Hallie:"Ms.Smith, your back so soon what seems to be the problem?"
Nicole:"I've been feeling this sharp pain in my stomach and I have blood in urine since I left yesterday."
Doctor:"Well we're going to get you to pee in a cup for us to test at the lab and draw some blood and I can do a ultrasound to make sure babygirl is okaay in there. If all of this is fine with you?"
Nicole:"I'm 100% fine with this. I just need to know something."
Doctor:"Alright, I have to go get the gel and the cup for your urine"
Nicole gets a text from Mark asking where she was. Nicole replies saying she's at the doctor getting something taken care of.
Mark plays the game while he waits for Nicole to come home.
The ultrasound is done and Doctor Hallie let's her know that the baby is fine and everything will be okaay. You're probably experiencing braxton hicks and heartburn. But as far as the blood in the urine. It's more than likely a urine infection. But you should be getting a call in a day or 2 at the max for results.
Nicole gets home and lays on the couch, she tried from the day that she has had. Mark comes out and she's her dozing off and he get her a blanket and kisses her forehead.
Mark cleans the house and cooks while Nicole is sleep. Nicole wakes up to a clean house and a cooked meal, boy is she happy. They eat and talk about baby names. Nicole comes up with "Johanna Lynn Smith" Mark comes up with "Oliva Jadie Smith" they can't decided so they just go to bed.
