"hi, id like to rent some skates." jungkook says to the woman behind the counter, handing her some cash. he taps his foot against the floor of the ice rink building, his foot tapping along to the beat of the cheery christmas song playing in the background.

as he waits for the woman to hand him two sets of skates, he looks around the ice rink building with an excited smile on his face.

"excited for a date?" the woman asks, noticing jungkook's smile. jungkook smile turns wider as he nods. the woman grins at him, handing him rented skates.
"well, have fun on your date! have a good day!" she wishes. jungkook takes the skates and smiles gratefully. he turns around, about to walk over to the benches to wait for taehyung to appear, when he spots a group of boys walking in through the building's door.

"hi jungkook!"
"jungkook!"
"where's taehyung?"
"how's the date going so far?"

"it was going perfectly well until you guys appeared - what the hell are you guys doing here? namjoon hyung??" jungkook hisses, looking at namjoon.

namjoon shrugs and tugs at his red cap, "they invited themselves."

"we're here to help!" hoseok grins giving him a thumbs up sign. jin and jimin nod their heads in unison, both wearing huge grins.

"also when were you gonna tell you us about you guys huh? you never told me about what happened in high school and neither did you tell me about this bet." jimin grunts, annoyed that taehyung, whom he was closest to, didn't tell him.

"you didn't ask." jungkook says, unbothered.

"what else haven't you told us?" jimin sniffs. jin and hoseok sniff in disapproval as well.

"is it true that taehyung sucked your ahem?" jin butts in.

"yeah." jungkook grins at this.

"have you had se-"

"yeah." jungkook says.
the trio, now including namjoon, gasp loudly.

"did you guys kiss?" jimin asks, eyes widening.

"yes."

"who topped?"

"me." jungkook grins again and namjoon fist bumps him.

namjoon, seokjin, hoseok and jimin gasps aloud, processing the new information.

"oh god this is gonna be so obvious." jungkook tells himself, eyeing each friend with exasperation as they mutter loudly to each other and giggle, more gasps following.

"we promise to be really sneaky, taehyung won't notice a thing! we'll be subtle, i swear." jin adds, "trust your hyungs on this! look we even came in non suspicious clothing."
